It's a frosty autumn morning...

And we do have much to be thankful about! Every good and perfect gift comes from the Father, everything we enjoy and delight in having comes from God the Father!
He is the one who provides for all of our needs, and gives us also more than what we expect sometimes too. There have been times where I prayed for something which I had an idea of what I wanted, and then God has blessed me with something much better than what I had in mind! He blesses us abundantly, and wants to give us the best!
But also; He knows what we need too. And not everything we want are always going to be what is best for us!

Amen. He is verrrry wise, and verrry GOOD. When we bow down our own will to His, and trust in HIM, rather than our own understanding, He moooooves mightily on our behalf, and pours out goodness and blessings on us, to overflowing.

I have began reading in 1 Colossians today, and there are so much there which inspires and builds up, that I find it hard just choosing a few parts. Though I find all of God's Word full of much goods! Even the parts where you see a loong list of names and ancestry, it is interesting to me as well!
I will add some parts which reminds us of our saving grace.
Colossians 1:13-14
"He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love.
In Whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins."
Colossians 1:16-17
"For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him.
And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist."
Colossians 1:19-20
"For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell,
and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross."
Even though I have learned earlier of God's grace through what Jesus Christ did for us on the cross, during this time, it is much stronger to me, this knowledge of God's grace. And it is not just something learned, but it is also understanding how powerful it truly is! And how Great it is!
Also knowing; That without it, I would be such a lost case! And when I am aware of all of the cost done for me on the cross, knowing that in truth I am no good, it just gets much more valuable for me, having His grace over me because of the blood which was shed for me on the cross!
His grace is so precious for me! And I can't stop thanking the Father for this! I am truly eternally thankful for His grace! And His grace is which holds me strongly, and keeps me safe in His guard over me!

And again; This bible part confirms what I shared with you over:
Colossians 1:5-6
"because of the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, of which you heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel, which has come to you, as it has also in all the world, and is bringing forth fruit, as it is also among you since the day you heard and knew the grace of God in truth."

Colossians 3:17
"And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him."
This is something which we need to keep in mind, doing everything for His glory!
Also this part;
Colossians 3:23-24
"And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that from the LORD you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ."
Everything we do, should be for Him and His glory, and not for ourselves, nor for other people. We do serve other people, yet serving them through serving Christ first. Without Christ, serving would become void! We would gain nothing from it, just death! But when we serve with our Lord Jesus Christ in mind, we will have life! As well as everything we do will bear much fruit!

Amen!!!! This ties right in to the "joy of the Lord" being our strength.
God's joy, is a "side-effect" of being thankful and praising Him. It's like His precious Holy Spirit "celebrates" inside us, and has just GOT to pour out ev''ry where.

Autumn is also a beautiful season.
I want to delight in every season given to us! As every season of a year have something beautiful and special about it! And it is useful for something! As God wouldn't create anything useless! Everything has a purpose and is of use by God!
1 Corinthians 15:58
"Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord."

My Father,
He delights me with His presence.
As I delight in,
looking at the trees.
Seeing the leaves,
moved by the wind.
Seeing the leaves,
shining in their given colours by God.
Autumn colours,
autumn wind!
As I delight in the sunlight,
which gives us an golden-like light.
I am reminded of God,
my Father and my Saviour!
He has created all of this,
to also make me stay delighted in Him!
