What God did
For scarcely for a righteous min will one die, yet perhaps for a good man some would dare to die.
But God demonstrated His love towards us, in that while we yet sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:7-8
What God did in detail
Ephesians 2:3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.
2:4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
2:5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved
2:6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
What God does today.
There has no temptation taken you but such as is common to man, but God is faithful who will not suffer you to be tempted above what you are able but will with the temptation also make the way of escape that you may be able to bear it..
On Sunday night my Pastor had a cookout at his house for our church.
He asked us if we could share a favorite verse and why it was our favorite.
I could not think of one favorite verse. I have favorite verses depending on the situation.
But I do have a favorite Bible phrase. BUT GOD, so I shared all 3 verses to show that phrase.
After I shared, Pastor said, "that's a 3 point sermon.
So I started thinking about it and came up with the phrases above each verse.

Once again, I am glad for this thread. A thread where I can go and read encouraging posts.
A thread where people just want to encourage each other.
This has been a busy day on CF. And some of the posters I just want to reach through the computer screen and attempt to slap some sense into them.
Hahaaaaa i can soooo relate....
that's why i found myself wandering back here tonight.
i needed some peace and encouragement.

"Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own."(Matthew 6:34)
This is something I got in mind yesterday but I still keep in mind. We all never know fully how the next day will become. We may set plans and fullfill it as we find fit, but sometimes a day can turn out differently than what you just had in mind.
The only one who truly knows everything, what will happen during this day and tomorrow is God. And this is why we should fully trust Him, knowing He is in control with everything! He has everything under His control.

A comforting reminder....
helps to let go of stress at the end of the day, and to drift off into peaceful slumber.
(i like the word "slumber"...it makes me yaaaaawn hahaaa )

True. It is this world that creates all stress and worries, a world without the true God won't find true peace and rest.
But God has been and is a faithful God throughout all of the generations, from the day Adam and Eve was created till now and beyond, He has never failed His people, and will continue never failing us.
We have nothing to loose by trusting in and remaining with Him! Because He will never leave us nor forsake us! He is our Truth and Love! And our Forever Saviour and Lord!

Well i'm watching/listening to this...i have it on "loop" so it'll repeat....i needed the joy of Matt makin' a delightful fool of himself all around the world....
