Yesterday i got a call from a Home Improvement salesman..
I asked him if he was trying to sell me something. He replied in the negative.
So I asked him if we could just talk. I would tell him about Jesus. Before I got to tell him how much Jesus loved him I realized he had hung up on me.

I think this is a much better way to get rid of those pesky salesmen than just hanging up on them.
Make them hang up or hear about Jesus and His love.

Went to church this morning despite the roads being a little icy. I have a 4 wheel drive truck so icy roads really don't bother me that much. But, apparently the icy conditions bothered our elders, because they cancelled all services today.
Normally, they send out a text if service is cancelled. They decided not to send texts, but to just put it on TV.

So here I am sitting at home typing on the laptop.

i was listening to Moody Church on the radio, and the sermon was about "shame" and that it can be "generational", and the tragedy of it. It was a bless-ed sermon about God's grace and how He breaks the chains of generational shame and that through His grace, healing commences. We are no longer slaves to shame, fear, and condemnation, or false guilt.

That is GOOD news.

How precious is THAT??!!

34:7 The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.

In verses 4-7 we see the goodness of the LORD in action.
Delivering us from fears, saving us from all our troubles, having angels camp around those who fear Him.

34:8 O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.

A profoundly in-depth song about an excruciating wound for so many - "rejection". It leaves deep deep and festering wounds. The song covers other excruciations and woundings as well, that leave us broken and dejected. We all need reminders of who we are to our heavenly Father.

Sometimes just one verse has so much in it to meditate on and to realize internally. This is such an awesome thing....that They will make a home with me!

Sometimes just one verse has so much in it to meditate on and to realize internally.

Sometimes just one word of a verse.
Last week I was meditating on Isaiah 53:4.
I know this verse will, and as I started thinking about each word, I did not get past "surely" before God revealed His love for me.
Surely, not maybe, surely. God didn't just say, Jesus bore our griefs and carried our sorrows", He said "Surely", this is TRUTH, It would have still been great if God had said that, but He made it a point to say "Surely"
