In the Levitical sacrifices every detail had something to do with the sacrifice of Christ.
For instance the grain offering had to be of fine flour, it could not be of coarse flour.
To make flour fine it has to be beaten again and again.
Isaiah 52:14 As many were astonied at thee; his visage was so marred more than any man, and his form more than the sons of men:

i never realized or thought of that.

Wow, that's a complete Bible study in itself.

(This helps in understanding Leviticus, which has been one of the more difficult books for me to read and understand).

It's a wunnerful meditation. Thank you for sharing it. If God is my Father, my Abba, i can share EV'RY THING with Him, even when i don't feel like talking to him or i'm "shut down" and numb, i can tell Him even that, that i don't have anything to say, or that i can't even think to speak. It's SUCH a dear thing that He "reads" my heart then, and what He's still keeping in mind, is that part of my heart that cried out to Him with all that was in me, and that He HEARD, and determined THEN that He would answer THAT cry, THAT prayer, and that THAT is what He is basing EV'RY THING He does even NOW, on.

How SECURE is THAT??!!

Even if i get distracted, discouraged, weary, and shut down, He still hears that small cry.

This is why He died, for tears such as those.

How utterly precious is THAT??!!!

...it's reassuring to know that God does not grow tired of us when we're weary, tuckered out...reminds me of Elijah...remember what God did when Elijah was beyond weary, hungry, and sleep-deprived when he ran from Jezebel?

LOL! Well Elijah was sooooooo weary, tuckered, and depleted, that he was runnin' till he couldn' run no more and basically just collapsed.

God wasn't mad at him. He wasn't disgusted. He didn't hate Elijah.

He merely sent a raven, to bring Elijah some food, and then Elijah was told to go to sleep, and this happened twice, i think, and wasn't there an angel there?

God "took care of" Elijah. He MINISTERED to His tuckered servant, and was a GOOD Shepherd to him.

How precious is THAT??!!
