The cross

I like crosses because they remind me of the sacrifice Jesus made for the world. I prefer an empty cross as opposed to a crucifix because an empty cross reminds me Jesus is no longer on it, and will be returning soon.

I also really like the fish symbol, although I don't think it should or will replace the cross as the universal symbol of Christianity.

i also like the fishy symbol, i believe it is called an icthus (or something like that.... i cant spell lol) and i do agree that the cross will always be the symbol of christianity, because in my opinion, without the cross, christianity would never have existed.

ICTUS is Greek for Fish.

As to the OP I'm sure Jesus has no problem whatsoever with us remembering Him through the display of the cross. The cross represents the singlemost beautiful and powerful gesture of love in the history of creation.

BTW the anagram is ICHTHUS (ICQUS)
