Jesus Christ died on a cross,
Put our sins to death,
Rose again on the third day
To give us new breath.
Put our sins to death with Him
So we’d die to sin,
Walk with Him, obey His word,
Our sins be forgiven.
Fellowshipping with our Lord,
One with Him by faith,
Living for Him, do His will,
Doing what He saith.
We His servants are to be,
Doing what He says,
Following daily where He leads,
For we are His friends.
Hear Him calling us to do
What He’s planned for us,
Calling us to Him be true,
In His righteousness.
Live for Jesus every day,
Walk in truth, no lie,
For that, sacrificed Himself,
So to sin we’ll die.
Share the gospel with the world
So they’ll die with Him
To their sins, now live for Him,
Have life now in heaven.
Don’t be fearful, some oppose
Us in what we do,
But be faithful to His Word,
Give Him what is due.
