Wow. They stole that right from AiG!

Yeah, I thought that was quite funny. Not only do they arbitrarily throw out all evidence that contradicts their narrow interpretation of a book written by nomdic hunter-gatherers, they can't even come up with an original way to do so.

Sorry, the preceding paragraph may have slightly poisoned the well. The point still stands, however.

You guys gave some great points, Thanks ! This guy travels everywhere and all atheists in that area come and debate him one on one for an entire night, so far in these debates he has won every single one, he is coming to our town and I wondered what questions to ask. Thanks, for all the insight !

Who judged that he had won? Did he declare victory for himself? Was the measure of victory who could say "I win, you lose, nah nah nah!" the loudest? Were there referees and independent judges?

There are people from each side from the community that hold the debate for it to be fair. Everyone is given open floor time. Lol , he is not in jail, how funny : )

Please point to where this is detailed.

Ever hear of "stacking the deck"? :p

In any case, AW, I'd like to point this out:

This professor can "win" any debate with scoffers by carefully defining the parameters of the debate. When he states that no evidence is considered valid if it contradicts scripture, he is effectively stating that at any time if you contradict scripture, you lose the debate. Well, how can anyone win under those rules?

This would be, in a larger context, why he has been denied tenure. It's not because he's a Christian, it's because he rejects the basic tenets of science and holds up a completely different set of beliefs and values. You cannot consider yourself a scientist and reject the tenets of scientist.

Gosh, if he can disprove evolution so easily, I wonder why he hasn't published his evidence in any peer-reviewed science journals? Could it be that he's full of non-sense?

Ever wonder why Christian colleges such as Baylor, Southern Methodist, Wheaton, and Notre Dame among others feature evolution prominently in their biology curriculum?
