Now I'm confused. Could you please post the contest rules (due date & whether it's American time or other as well) & topic (if there is one).

Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

Wow, I suck at leading, this place has turned into a debate.
Time to fix things up.
You can choose ONE of Two topics per round.
We'll let you write for 6 days. After that, voting starts for 3 days. Winner goes on to the next round, loser goes out. (competition competition!) Due dates for each writing round is 12:00 AM Day 7. GMT 8.00. Since I'm evil.

Well, no one submitted anything from those intially interested, so don't sweat it.
It's past the date, and doesn't seem like there really is interest. I'll just say that if anyone has an interest in writing in general, the newpaper here is always looking for both writers and one time submissions.
