The Contest to Start all Contests

You know why you're here...Now go do what you came here to do.

So anyway, I find this place only having ONE writing contest active and I'M SICK OF IT. We need more people to show off their skills in this art. If this contest is succesful, this battle shall spawn a war of more battles to show who will prevail.
I'm hoping this will be an inspiration!

I'll allow up to 8 writers. There will be 4 rounds. And in the end--one shall taste the sweet (or sour, if you like sour stuff) taste of victory!
It'll be knockout style. Loser gets out, winner advances on.

They wont be judged by judges---they'll be judged by you! That's right! Vote for one writer on each pair.

Winner gets 65 blessings. That's all the blessings I have right now.

When rosters are full, contest begins. You have 5 days to submit your writing. After that, voting will be on for 4 days.
Afterwards, next round starts.....

You can vote for one writer per pair. That means if Writer A is against Writer B you have to vote for either one of them. Same goes for Writer C and D. And so on...

Perhaps you should narrow it down. Like do one category at a time. Otherwise a poet might be at a disadvantage with someone who can write well AND long....or whatever.

"What?" I didn't say I wouldn't play. Just PM me when it starts so i don't have to check here EVERY day and can post in the more immediate threads of mine.
I post in the RPG section, and I'm pretty good at it sometimes. I think I can handle a little category change here and there. LOL.

We'll start when the roster is full.
Round one dead lines are 5 days after the contest starts. Voting then lasts the next 4 days.
Same for round two which will happen in the next week.
And round 3 and 4.

We wont figure out deadlines until the contest starts..

Hrm....Only three days? what if someone can't get on for that time and it HAPPENS to coincide with this? Give us five days, if you want, or give us an early submission thing. Sorry, but ya know, I don't get on ALL the time, lol.

Hrm.....it should be realistic. Something that has happened in your life, or something about yourself. Anyone can do nature, after all. It takes some soul searching to effectively get yourself down on paper, lol.
