Xbox: Xbox live, Halo, Knights of the Old Republic, strongest console made

Nintendo: Franchises such as Mario and Zelda, Cute cube design

PS2: Vast amount of games, Out 1 year before competitors

Gamecube, by far. Zelda is the only reason for any video game systems. I own all the nintendo ones besides Gamecube (i'll wait until it gets cheaper, cus Zelda's the only game I'll buy to play on it), and on most of them, the only game/s i own is/are the Zelda games. I could care less about anything else. Zelda is "the bomb" and so of course any of the nintendo systems are better than the others.

Halo 2.

PS2, for sheer variety of games. It can play PS1 games, PS2 games, and dvd's.

I'm down with some XBOX. Tons of new games coming out too.

But all consoles have their staples of existence. Nintendo has Zelda.
PS2 has like, a buhzillion games.

im soo mad that they pushed the release date to the first quarter of 2004. i wanted to play some halo 2 online over winter break.

I had PS2, until the first day I played NFLFever. Once I played that game, I immediatly took my PS2 back.

Halo 2.

I admit Erwin that not much comes close to Halo. I played for two days STRAIGHT online once (Stopped once for pizza and bathroom breaks )! But man you gotta love those warthogs

But I still have to say PS2 for the sheer variety of games.

This decision is easy for me.

I grew up on Nintendo systems. Had em all except GameCube.

Our household has a PS2 and it is one of the most versitile systems I have come across. I was turned off by the X-Box because of their weird controls and because I think NFL fever is wretched. I am EA SPorts all the way. EA Sports games play the best on the PS2. Madden rocks-The all time best football franchise and it just keeps getting better. Not to mention the kewl fighting games like the Tekken and Virtua Fighter franchises.

X-Box gets kudos for the Hard Drive it has initially but other than that and Halo and the Pentium processor, Microsoft has a lot of work to do on the X-Box and games.

Basically if your a sports or fighting game enthusiast I would go PS2.

If you are into the new wave adventure games then go X-Box.

If you are into the traditional adventure games then go for the GameCube.

lol i do i have xbox live. but he said that he played halo, then he said that he played online 2 days straight. but i guess those two things didnt relate to each other. and xbox connect is a program that you download and then you plug your xbox into the pc. it tricks the xbox into thinking your pc is another xbox. then you can connect to any xbox anywhere and play a lan game.

If ever there was false advertiseing it is Madden. Every year they show these awesome graphics, but when you buy the game. They totally suck!!!
The way the controls feel, is as ugly as the game looks.

This game can only improve.

The thing that people love about this games, is they are already used to the controls, and everything else about it. For years this was the best football game, until NFL2K series came out. I believe that Fever now has passed them all. Its controls may be a bit arcadey, but its a far cry better than Madden. Madden is like controlling your grandparents on the field, slow and unmovable.

Xbox is my favorite, but I own all three next-gen systems. Just can't beat Halo for FPS goodness on a console.
