Vaccines don't cause autism. What does?
Scientists say most brain changes that contribute to autistic traits occur before birth.

Autism is not a disease. It is a spectrum of many different disorders, that
present on a spectrum of disorders.
Autism is not caused by a single gene, or a fixed gene configuration. Autism
is connected with certain gene configurations, but these configurations do not
guarantee that a child will be on the autism spectrum.
There are different levels of DIAGNOSIS of autism in different socio-economic
groups. But this does not necessarily mean that there are different frequencies of
autism in different socio-economic groups.
Autism is associated with gene configurations, and not later exposure of children
to (for example) vaccines.
