This morning (CET) I did something I almost never do: I looked whether a man's name adds up to 666.

Since the name of Jesus adds up to 888 in ancient Greek (medieval and modern Greek: 694, due to a rather insignificant change of letters), I am convinced that we should do such computation (Rev 13:18) with Greek letters.

Well, Elon Reeves Musk does not sum up to 666 - there is some freedom how to transcribe this name into Greek, but I don't see any honest way to arrive at 666.

But why did I try?

Well, Mus is maybe the most powerful man in the world. He can influence the opinions of the masses, he can influence governments as a mighty lobbyist, he can with his resources influence elections in a »legal« way … He wanted Trump, he got Trump. And now he wants to push the AfD.

For those who know nothing about this party, a rather recent bit of information:

On the 20th of December, a Saudi, anti-Islam sympathizer of that Party drove a SUV through a Christmas market in the City of Magdeburg, injuring about 200 people - thanks God only 5 were killed. The motives to this unclear, presumably the man has serious psychical problems.

Shortly after Alice Weidel, a lesbian member in the executive committee of this rather anti-LBTQ party, held a meeting in Magdeburg where she insisted this man was an Islamist, and used this to demand stricter control of immigration. If you find that sentence rather irritating: Yes, this shows a light on the party which Musk terms the only hope for Germany.

Musk does not believe in democracy, he wants a world in which intelligent, successful persons like him decide what is to be done. He has no problem to support liars like Weidel or Trump, to speak in favor of the rather fascist AfD, and he will do more in every part of the world that allows him to act in such a way.

Who can stop him?

You need to get out of the political news and stay with The Bible on future up coming events involving the tribulation and events preceding this time period.

Here is an excellent book I would recommend Power to Make War – GES Store

My focus was not on future events, but on the present situation.

To show the danger which comes from Musk, especially since some Christians seem to sympathize with figures round him (e.g. Trump).

But you mentioning 666, etc.. shows you are thinking biblically.
