The Comforter

God is definitely the God of Comfort (along with many other wonderful powerful things!). Lastnight when I went to bed I was feeling so alone and defeated, and unsettled. I couldn't sleep so I decided to read a few devotionals, and each one I read brought comfort to my soul. I could relate to each one of them. For example, One was about fireflies and lastnight there was a firefly in my house that kept flying around and lighting up! Imagine that.. a devotional about fireflies! That also goes to show God wants to know each of us on a personal and intimate level! Nobody else can provide such Love! Thank you God for Your intimacy!

Praise the Lord! Even when you think you are alone, and you feel like there's no one to hold you...God is there. I thank Him for the comfort of the Holy Spirit. He will never leave us. We are His children, and He loves us so much. He knows every feeling we have...He knows the reason for every tear that we cry. He knows us so well. Remember that even when you are alone...and you think you have no one to talk to...just talk to the Father. He's always there waiting to listen. He will bless you, and lift your spirits. You are His child, and He will take care of all of your needs. He knows what's best for you. If you ever need something, just go to Him in prayer...He's always there. God bless you!
