Zaac,
Ahh Im sorry that your hurt...or seem to be if you truly are....but God or talking about God, discussing God shouldnt make one sad
United, it's not the talking about God that saddens me. I can talk about Jesus Christ all day.

It's the confusion that reigns because of man-made doctrine and people simply not just accepting God's Word as He gives it in His Holy Bible.
As a keeper of the two Greatest Commandments, I have to love everyone that I know for they are all my neighbors. And when I encounter people again and again and again who have hung their eternal salvation ona Church's tradition rather than the truth of God's Word, I am saddened.
Sometimes it is just about overwhelming to see the confusion. But by the grace of God, the Holy Spirit always shows the confusion to have started at the same place: rejecting God's Word.
If everyone conceded that God's Word is His Word and regardless of feelings, they simply accepted it, the confusion would absolutely vanish.
Anyways...I do see where your comming from but please for a second, do you really think God doesnt listen to the prayers and confessions of those who are baptised as babies or are never baptised or who are not Christian?
United, I've said it before. God is sovereign. He can listen to the prayers of whomever He chooses. But what does His Word say about who he hears?
In Isaiah 59:2, the Bible says:
But your iniquities have separated
you from your God;
your sins have hidden his face from you,
so that he will not hear.
Because God the Father is HOLY, we cannot come into His presence stained with sin. To deal with that problem, He gave us His equally Holy God the Son as the sacrifice for our sin. Through the Holiness of Jesus Christ indwelling us, we can go to the Father.
And God's Word tells us what needs to happen to receive the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. There must be repentance of sin, and babies don't repent.
It's not an issue of who was or was not baptized as a baby. It's an issue of there not having been a repentance of sin.
There are millions of folks running around today thinking they are saved because they were baptized into the church, yet there has NEVER been any repentance of sin and a placing of faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Millions upon millions have already stepped into an eterenal hell for this very reason.
God does listen and God does put God's arm around that person and holds them...
Have you heard the story of the Prodigal Son? Where he came home years later? His father didnt care how long he had been gone...the thing was he was back and even while he was gone his father still loved him and still kept that door open...never once closed it...
Did you read the story of the rich man and Lazarus? The door DOES close.
Well thats how I see God...
If God is against Homosexuality...(which I doubt God is)
I have never said once that God is against homosexuality because Biblically I do not see where He speaks against an orientation.
But there is no doubt that God is against the committing of fornicative homosexual acts.
I still think God loves Homosexuals and even though would not like what they would be doing would still love them as God looks within a person...
If a person has accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, there is nothing that person can do to be plucked from God's hand. But a person who has had an encounter with Jesus Christ cannot continue in sin.
The Holy Spirit will wear you out. But there are some who after ignoring and ignoring the pleading of the Holy Spirit to receive truth, who are given over to their sin. And as God's Word says:
20If they have escaped the corruption of the world by knowing our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and are again entangled in it and overcome, they are worse off at the end than they were at the beginning. 21It would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than to have known it and then to turn their backs on the sacred command that was passed on to them. 2 Peter 2:20-21
God knows the heart of a person...
We're saved by God's Grace...
Absolutely. But how many people will choose to reject Christ because of the false witness given by many? How many will fall to the wayside because Christians accept sin as okay? If Christians think it's okay to sin, where does the Christian testimony come from to be able to tell the lost why they need a Savior?
