Psalm 27 King James Version (KJV)

27 The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

Verse 1 caught my eye as being particularty inspirational as I was reading through Psalm 27.

I am happy to see the devotional look at each of the Psalms, this is nice. There is from his true living faith such depth of feeling expressed with hope coming out of that even in any of adverse circumstances, which were very real with David.

We could easily spend a month on that Psalm.

My suggestion is that we carry on with Chapter a Day.

But at the same time spend a month slowly going through Psalm 119.

I have noticed reading the Psalms that some are sad and some are happy.

Psalm 29 it one of the happy Psalms. David is joyfully praising God.

When reading throught Psalm 29 this verse caught my attention.

During his life David only hid from two people namely King Saul and his son (acting king) Absalom who rebelled against him.

David writes sad Psalms during those times of hinding from his enemies.

Although Psalm 31 is mostly a sad Psalm verse 24 caught my eye as being of interest and encouragement to Christians.
