Chappy 164: The Fight is On
Akuma pulled out his sword, and Anja pulled out her bow and quiver of arrows. argyle and Nin charged up energy beams, argyle charging up a KaMeHaMeHa, but Nin was charging something else. Akuma ran at Dread, swinging his sword in a wide arc. Dread seemed to move in the shadows, moving quickly on his feet out of Akuma's reach. Anja took this oppuritunity to fire an arrow. The arrow peirced through Dread's right shoulder. Gritting his teeth, Argyle launched a Kamehameha, sending Dread flying backwards away from Kaylee. Nin's hands glowed yellow, preparing to launch his attack. "7th Heaven!" he shouted. 7 orbs of energy launched from his palm, ricocheting off the walls, all 7 hitting Dread in the stomach. The explosions sent Dread falling to the ground. stump ran over, grabbing Kaylee, and dragging her over to a small corner. Dread stood up, the shadows moving towards his body. "You fools...." he breathed silently. His small wings began to grow larger, and his small pointed tail became a large, thick one. His skin was completely covered by demon fur, and two large horns curved around his head like buffalo horns. His claws had grown even longer, and all his clothing except his pants, had disappeared, exposing his muscles. Flapping his large demon wings, he floated above the ground silently, with his arms crossed. "I'm going to destroy every last one of you....I don't care about the Demon King's ressurection. All I want you to do is die..." said Dread. Nin laughed. "You don't understand yet, do you Dread...?" he asked. Dread's ears perked up. "What do you mean...?" he asked. "The only reason we've been able to last this long, is because we're a familiy. Not a blood related family, but a spiritual family, like Kaylee said earlier. Sometimes, a spiritual familiy's bond can last longer than a blood related family's...." said Nin. Dread laughed. "Do you think that matters to me? Your girlfriend over there is practically dying from the stress of harboring the Demon King.....he WILL be ressurected soon...." Dread charged up a purple energy beam on the tip of his finger. "I don't care if there's a 1,000 of you! I on't care how strong your stupid bond is! All I care is that you die, die, dIE!!" he said, firing the beam at Nin. Akuma ran in front of Nin, blocking the beam with his sword. "See? THAT'S what a bond is....." said Nin, grinning from ear to ear. Dread, getting angry, put all of his energy into his hands. "I DON'T CARE IF I DIE!! ALL I CARE IS THAT YOU ALL DIE!!!!!" said Dread, created a large ball of energy above his head. "That ball of energy has enough power to destroy a planet!! We've got to get out of here!!!" he shouted. Akuma used his fairy wings, and grabbed Stump by the tail, flying off. Nin ran over, and grabbed Kaylee, and flew off, with Anja and Argyle flying close behind. The ball of energy slowly grew bigger and bigger, collapsing the ground of the Tower beneath Dread's feet. Dread used his power to make the ball shrink, but all the same energy still inside it, just compacted.
Dread threw the ball at the center of the Tower. The explosion slowly made the Tower begin to collapse. "We've got to get to the Ship, NOW!!" said Akuma. The flames slowly began to catch up with the group as they flew full speed towards their ship. They reached it just in time, as the tower slowly began to burst into flames.....
"I'm not getting any life readings from within the rubble....." said Stump, working on the computer. Nin carried Kaylee to the bed room, setting her in her bed. "You were really brave today...." said Nin, setting her down. Kaylee was so exhausted that she was already asleep, the marks on her body slowly receding.
"So, did we stop Dread? Was all their epuipment destroyed?" asked Nin. Stump, still working on the computer, typed quickly. "Their troll creating machines were all destroyed, and a few trolls in stasis survived the explosion, but their malfunctioning, so they're not a threat. Most of the demons disappeared before the explosion, returning to the Underworld. Dread obviously died in the explosion...." said Stump. "But there's some bad news....." said Akuma. "What's that?" asked Nin. "The curse marks? Their still on Kaylee. The Demon King's still coming, but the Troll Kings not. They sacrificed their plans for the Troll King for energy to ressurect the Demon King. He's coming wether or not their even alive...." said Stump. "..." Nin said nothing.
Back in the bedroom, the curse marks glowed brightly, a figures head emerging from a portal appearing out of Kaylee's stomach. He had horns, and a menacing laugh......
