The Cb Chronicles

Chapter 25

Kaylee searched her mind. She couldn't remember much, just walking into the cb and someone-or something-grabbing her from behind and forcing a wet, sour tasting substance into her mouth. And then darkness. A darkness so deep and so complete, it terrified her. She wanted to wake up, but something was keeping her from stirring, or even moving. Kaylee suspected it was the liquid that was forced down her throat. Kaylee was hot. Very hot. So hot she was afraid her skin would start itching and flaming any second. She sensed other people around her. . . . they were all tied up and it was obvious that they had been knocked out also. Kaylee started to recognize them from their frantic, scrambled thoughts. She could hear every word.

Diane was scared, GK was trying to calm her down, Krista and Ryan were infuriated and confused about what had happened. None of them could move. None of them could sense Kaylee, she had come in much longer before any of them and she knew it was because the demons not only wanted Akuma and Ninji, they wanted her. But the only question was: why?

Then she remembered. She was a member who visited CF frequently and loved talking to her friends in the chat box more than anything else. And when she role-played with her friends in CFIM, they lurked in the shadows, always there, always watching-always watching her. She came a lot, so why shouldn't she be a target? The one thing she couldn't for the life of her-she regretted using that term-figure out was what was going on. Why they had her. Why they really wanted her. If she mattered.

Chapter 27: the Shining Hearts

Ninjitsu walked merrily into the CB.He hadn't seen kaylee or Sarah in days,much less 9,GK or mycat.Krista was in the CB once,but she disappeared suddenly.This worried Nin,wondering if his vision was coming true.He saw a note taped to his lab gates,as he turned the key on the lock.He ripped the note off,and shoved it in his pocket.Nin was going to help,but he needed a few supplies first.He walked into his lab.It was dark and musty,and smelled of chemicals.Chemicals boiled,as the automated computer did the work at night.He turned on the lights,as a female computer voice spoke 'Good morning,Ninjitsu14.Would you like some cofee?'it asked.Nin hung up his coat,as the air outside in the CB Courtyard was cold,and the wind made a whisping sound.He pressed a button,and the doors closed."Actually,I'm leaving on an adventure.Can you send an Automated PM to Jo to ask her to watch my lab for me?I'm leaving at 9:30....."he said."Sending PM"said the automated voice,beeping and clicking and making whirring noises.Nin mixed chemicals that had boiled overnight,righting notes in his lab notebook.He put the chemicals in the cabinet,and locked it,wanting no one to discover his secret chemicals.He went into the far backroom,and switched on the lights.A large cabinet sat in the right corner.He opened the doors,and reached in.It was a prototype plasma whip,which turned on when a button on the handle was pressed.He hitched it on his belt,hoping it didn't suddenly turn on.He ran over to a matress on the floor,which was a 'bed' if he worked to late and didn't have enough time to sign off.He reached behind it,and grabbed a backpack.It was yellow,with red and black stripes running down the sides,like black fire.He ran back to another cabinet,and grabbed several snacks.He shoved them in his bag.He grabbed his cell phone on his table,and ran outside with his keys in hand."Good bye Computer!"he said,as he ran out.He locked the doors,and ran out into the court yard.He looked the gates going towards the stone pathway leading up to his lab.H went towards the manhole in the center of the CB,waiting for Akuma

Chapter 27 Part 2:Kaylee's Escape

Kaylee awoke to find herself in a dim lit room.Suddenly,a dark caped figure approached her.It was Erwin,or so she thought."Erwin!Thank Gosh!I thought I had been kidnapped by demons!Where are we?....."she asked,looking around.She was strapped on a table,where a bright light hung above her head."Your in a secret under ground chamber,were you are being 'disected'......We're going to take out the Light force inside your heart...."he spoke in a deep,husky voice.His eye brows were arched,and sweat gleamed on his forehead.Kaylee looked to her left.As she did,a horrific sight was revealed to her.Her friends were in the corner,just sitting there."I've already taken the light out of thier hearts......this makes them almost lifeless,though they're still concious.....your next..."he said.A sharp scapel was in his hand,but it had fangs on it,and they reached out,as if to grab something.He held it close to kaylee's chest.She jerked around,but she couldn't move.GK looked up at her,his eyes almost lifeless.She had sensed them earlier,so she tried speaking to them in her mind."Please GK,help me!"she said in her mind.GK stood up quietly,still a lifeless zombie.He made a fist,and socked Erwin right across the face.He fell,and the scapel broke the band holding kaylee's right arm.She wrenched her left hand free,and then her legs.Erwin got up,and tried to grab her.She jumped out of the way,and ran frantically down the hallway."I'll come back for you guys,I promise....."she said.She found an elevator,and returned to the CB from the elevator.She ran to Akuma and Ninji,her eyes stained with tears.She struggled to tell them what had happened to the others,and how she escaped."I'm glad your okay....but you won't be for long...."said Akuma.He smiled evily.Nin drew his katana,holding it to kaylee's neck."What's the matter with you guys?!"she screamed.They both smiled evily,and erupted in black flames.When they had refigured,they were demons.Everyone in the CB turned into blodd thirsty demons,as kaylee screamed.


She awoke,still in the underground chamber,lying on the cold altar.She listened to the thoughts of her friends,and could only cry.......it was only a dream,but it had turned into a nightmare

Chapter 28: Kaylee's Communicae

Kaylee woke up in a cold sweat. She looked around her and then dropped her head back onto the altar. Kaylee knew that she was someone's captive, that someone wanted her, that she was not only bait, but the demons had gotten her hook, line and sinker. She wanted to go to the cb. She wanted everything to be okay. She wanted all of this to never happen. She wanted her friends.

Kaylee's mind stretched in a million different directions as she tried to wriggle out of the ropes holding her. She bit her lip and tasted blood in her mouth. It had obviously already been bleeding from her moving around earlier. Kaylee lay still and closed her eyes. She remembered walking into the cb, she remembered looking around the empty pool and the large gaping hole in the wall where Shadow's lab was supposed to be. She remembered shadows. Lots of little shadows, and someone jumping out of the darkness of the large doorway behind her and grabbing her, tieing her hands up and a little creature climbing up her body and forcing her mouth open, then pouring a disgusting sour tasting liquid into her mouth and she tried to scream for help, but someone clapping their slimy brittle hand over her mouth. Kaylee remembered feeling weak in the knees and darkness enveloping her like an old friend. She tried to fight the evil darkness, but it overcame her quickly. And the next thing Kaylee knew, she was here.

Kaylee tried to communicate with Akuma and Shadow with her mind.


Chapter 28 Part B

Shadow stopped in his tracks. He could sense that someone, or something was trying to communicate with him. Shadow blocked the messages, and they stopped for a while and he assumed that whatever it was was gone. So he shrugged it off and looked around at the cb. Everyone was searching for their lost friends frantically. Shadow started to search too, for any clues about the entire situation.

Shadow felt the messages again. This time they were more urgent and they were slowly becoming clearer to him. He stopped and listened to them, thinking "What the heck." He recognized Kaylee's strained voice. She was crying for help. He answered her. **Kaylee! Kaylee!**

**Shadow?** There was a pause. Kaylee started saying **Are y-** and suddenly she cut off. Shadow tried to communicate with her, but all he could hear was static. He suddenly was concerned. He called Adam over and they tried to figure out where Kaylee might be. But they couldn't for the life of them figure out where she and the others were. Shadow and Adam could tell Kaylee and the others were in trouble. The only problem was they couldn't help them, no matter how much they could try, they needed to figure out where the missing CBers were.

Yeah I know. . . I'm usually so confident but lately. . . I don't know what's happened. . . . I've been writing by myself too much, y'know what I mean?

Wel anyways I love this thread, I love posting in it, I love the story, it's so cool. I love adventures like this, especially when I get to be the character.

It was good.I liked it.Sometimes,the way you express the situation,your better than I am.Can you give me lessons?I'm fixing to start 29.....almost to 30!

Lessons? Um okay. All you really need to do is:

1) Close your eyes and clear your mind of everything but the Chronicles.
2) Play out the Chronicles in your mind so you can see it just like, say, a movie in your mind.
3) Instead of using boring 4th grade words, use better, more fabulous, glamourous words for ones that need to be spiffed up. Get a thesaurus and look up the 4th grade words and it will tell you better words. Pick the one you like best and use it.
4) Put yourself in your character's shoes. Imagine going to Fairy World, looking for us, hearing my messages. It makes you feel like you are actually doing it. Then imagine what happens next and write it down just the way you see it.

Chapter 29: Shutdown

Nin was in the CB,waiting for Akuma.Suddenly,the lights went off."what the hey?!"he shouted.He grabbed a flashlight,set on the table in emergency's,and turned it on.Everything looked so lifeless.Suddenly,a wind swept through th CB,throwing him out.A message read 'sorry!We are having technical difficulty's,and are working to restore CF.It shouldn't take too long! Signed.....Erwin'.Nin frantically typed on his comp,hoping something would happen.He opened a cyber warp hole in front of him,and he travelled through it.He appeared in the catacombs in the old part of CF,old,dead,abandoned threads lay on the dusty floor.Nin glanced over them,some were the ones he talked in when he first joined.He growled angrily.He hated the demons for causing all this mess.He stepped on a loose peice of floor,and he fell through cyber space.He appeared in the big room with the altar in it.He hid behing a pillar,as Erwin and the others stood in the center."The time is fast approaching....according to our sources,only Akuma is left....."said Erwin.RED looked over at Erwin,eye brows arched."I sensed something more in Akuma's heart when he came back though...."he said slowly.Erwin glanced towards him."What are you saying?"he asked,a voice of defiance."I'm saying,I sensed darkness in his heart!When he was in the desert,he must have become battle hardened,and the light in his heart dimmed......."said RED.Erwin's eyes opened wide,looking at him.Then,they shut.He smirked."This is true.......release kaylee and GK......we will posess thier bodies,and capture Nin's little girlfriend.....Jo"said Erwin.kaylee and GK were released,and they tried to squirm out of the demon's grips.The demon's jumped in through thier mouths,and posessed hier bodies.Kaylee and GK smirked evily,eyes arched."Go find the one they call 'Jo'"said Erwin.Kaylee and GK levitated off the ground,and flew out of the hallway.Nin could only stare as he saw to of his best friends be posessed,as the others were still trapped."AS for the rest of us,we will split into two groups,one searching for the ninja,and the other for Akuma.Once we capture them,we will have the only two that resist us.We will offer them,just to get them out of the way!"he laughed evily,and the other demons joined him.Nin stared in awe,and suddenly,he was back in the CB,waiting at the manhole."Ready to go?"said Akuma's voice.

Yep I write a lot. I have 24 boxes full of floppies that have all my stories on them.

I read, write, play volleyball, baseball, and flag football, I love school, I do latchhook, I volunteer, I go to mission camps, I do a lot of stuff.
