Chapter 71: The Mercenary

Akuma pointed at the map of CF. "Ok, Nin and Kaylee's fort is right here. We want to use stealth and infiltrate here and here."
"I see." Argyle stared at the map.
"I've also hired additional help. He's a bit crazy but we need a mad man to do this mission."
"Who is it?"
Akuma cleared his throat, waving to the tent's entrance. "Come in, lnknprk2003."
Argyle pounded the map on the table. "You hired Buddy? But he's a loosecannon! You can't possibly trust the importance of this mission to him."
Buddy stood where he was, smiling at the tent wall.
"I can and I will. I know the risks. Just today he pelted me with a balloon filled with BBQ sauce. That's how I got this." He pointed to the jagged BBQ infected scar on his arm. "But the point is he's mad enough to do this. Besides, he bought me a nice yellow dress."
"I noticed. It's quite pretty."
"Thank you. Buddy, are you ready?"
Buddy saluted. "Yes, sir!"
"I'm over here, Buddy. No, over here, Buddy. Yes, there you go. Someone get this brave soul a balloon." Akuma saluted Buddy in return. "God's speed, Buddy. God's speed.

Chappy 72

Kaylee shook her head. "ooh-kay," she mumbled under breath, after Akuma had left. She raised her head and looked at Ninji, "I trained Diane and GK, they seem to be good enlistees. Trained them to use the catapults and taught them the ways of the land. I know the exact location of Akuma's fort and their weaknesses. We need more members in our squadron." Ninji nodded. Kaylee stood as rigid as a straight line, saluted and took off through the fort. She weaved her way through the narrow tunnels, saluted to Xaddie and Kayla, who were making more balloons in the basement, and crawled through the low tunnels. Kaylee climbed a ladder to the second floor and did the exact same routine, saluting to Ninji and the new enlistees on her way. She climbed a small flight of stairs to the turret and sat at the window, staring out over CF. She watched the chat box, and the happenings of the RPG Forums. As the sun began to set, she took a deep breath.

She was ready.

Nin walked outside,and looked over the horizon.Akuma and Argyle were probably readying their forces."we need to exploit their weaknesses...and watch their advantages...."he said to himself.He thought about it for a while,and he had sorted everyth9ing out."They have forums with more populated people,so they have more supporters....but,at the same time,that also slows down their mobility.There's only a few hundred people on CF,sometimes even a thousand.....but the highest it's ever been was 1,400.In our case,one of our weaknesses,is that we could be attacked by the members of RPG section to get out of that section,but at the same time,since their having their own war between ODEC and SPAGNIC(I'm in this war too,and it's actually happening,as we speak).With my negotiating,I should be able to convince them back to their own war.On the other hand,we have the advantage of the river that runs between Leisure and RPG.This should get us much needed supplies,and as we follow the river,we can capture enemy forts.Then,we can make our way to the Capital Fort,and capture it.Hopefully,it will go just as planned."he looked off into the forest that led into the RPG section.Then river wasn't that far off."Kaylee and Diane,you two watch the fort.GK and I are going to recruit more people,and hopefully find us another fort....."GK and Ninji ran off into the woods.

A few hours later,they had made their way through the woods,and had suddenly fallen through a Data Hole,which warped them to enemy lines.They were in the much populated ChatBox,and everyone stared at them.They were on enemy soil.An AA (Akuma & Argyle) Supporter looked at them,and walked off slowly,calling Akuma and argyle on her CB Phone.GK and Nin didn't notice."Um,hey,I know we're here on such shoprt notice,but would any of you like to join the KC(Kaylee insisted on her initial being first)Army?We need help,since the AA has more advantages.Please?"he asked.Krista and Ryan raised their hands,but two people were standing in the doorway,wearing a dark blue shirt with gold buttons running down the middle,with the symbol 'AA' in Gold cursive letters.Northern officers.They lifted a water baloon from their belt,and tossed gently.GK and Nin jumped,but the baloon exploded,creating a vortex of water,that sucked GK in.He was in a small air buble,with a strong,frozen layer of ice surrounding it."Where did you get that technology?!"shouted Nin at the guards.They quietly pointed over at a familiar looking lab.It had been destroyed,and obviously rebuilt,and was named 'Argyle and Akuma Labrotory's'.Nin screamed,and threw a water baloon at the guards.They got wet,and ran off back to base.It was Kevin and Sarah."Obviously they have two more members....."said Nin,releasing GK from his icy prison.Nin and GK led Ryan and Krista back to their base."Got two more...."said Nin,pretending to have them wrapped and tied with an invisible rope,and said it with a heavy Texas accent.

Chapter 74: Funds

"Argyle, sir! Erwin is here to see you!"
"Erwin?!" Argyle looked at Akuma, who only shrugged. "Let him in."
Erwin strode into the tent, fancy sword n' all. He faced them and cleared his throat. "This...is awkward."
"What?" Argyle asked.
Erwin handed him a roll of paper. "Your little war has taken its toll on Christian Forums. Foxholes, trenches, forts, military technology used for testing water balloons...its quite an expense."
Argyle's eyes bulged. "5000 in damage expenses!"
"Actually it's more. Your thumb is covering the rest.
"5,000,000! We don't have that kind of blessings!" Akuma fainted.
"Ah, yes, well, it's going to take quite a while to fix this mess. I hope you'll be done with it soon." Erwin gave a polite nod and exited the tent.
"But why do we have to pay it?!" Argyle shouted after Erwin. "Why not Shadow and Kaylee?!"
There was no reply and Argyle slumped in his seat. Then Erwin reapeared, his tongue out. "'Cuz I can."
Argyle fainted. The AA dreamed of sugarplums and no blessing bills.

Chappy 75

Kaylee sat up in her chair, and looked out the window. Just as the other members began to leave for bed, she saw people over to boundary between catergories. It looked like soldiers. Kaylee ran throughout the fort, pushing buttons and shouting, "The enemies are coming! They're coming! Lurk! Lurk!" Kaylee threw the switch for the cloaking device, and instantly the thread turned invisible. She got everyone to get down to the basement and crouch like they would for a tornado drill. Kaylee and Nin crawled up and looked out from a window. The people came closer and closer. Kaylee suddenly saw who it was. It was Akuma and Argyle! They had a whole army of members! They stopped at the boundary for the fort and Akuma shouted, "ATTACK!" The soldiers began throwing balloons at...nothing.

The Leisure forum members were soaked! They threw the army out, and so did the rest of the Christians only section. Kaylee let out a breath of relief. She stood, saluted to Nin and returned to her post in the turret. Nin went downstairs and continued the finishing training for the enlistees.

Kaylee lay down on the floor in the turret and stared at the ceiling, thinking about what they would do tomorrow. Soon she turned to her side and closed her eyes. Kaylee fell asleep in a matter of minutes in that small, dark room. She needed to rest up. Nin directed the enlistees to the barracks and they got settled down soon enough. They kept chattering, however, and Nin (being in the next room) threw open the door and shouted, "Shut up and go to bed!" They quieted down and eventually went to sleep. Nin lay down on his military cot and closed his eyes. Deep breaths, and soon he was asleep.

Kaylee and Nin were safe - for now.

"hey Nick Argyle what's the plan,"asked Buddy.
"the plan is.....I don't know." said Nick
" I have a new member for our Army," Buddy says,"it's my g/f Jesus_Freak728. she's awsome at throwing ballons."
"Cool," said both NIck and Argyle

Chapter 76:

In the middle of the night,Nin's Shadow powers from his previous screenname,were charging themselves.His sleeping body glowed black,and a dark silhouette of him jumped out of his body.Whatever this new power was,it activated when he was asleep.The silhoutte,apprtopriately named 'Blacky',flew out the window and began scouting the infinite desert where they're fort was built.Sensing small powers,trying to be kept low in the forest,he flew in there and found non eother than Buddy,Akuma,and Argyle.

Nin woke up in a cold sweat.He was still in the same position he was when he went to sleep,but his head hurt.That silhouette must have been the solid form of energy in his mind."So,I can leave my body to scout areas.But I guess I have to be back before I run out of energy."he said.If his 'dream' was right,then Buddy,Akuma,and Argyle were stationed in the forest no more than 25 miles from here atleast.He awoke Kaylee,Ryan,GK,Diane,and Krista,and told them how he had found them.

"So,you think that your little 'dream' was just basically your soul leaving your body in the middle of the night?!"asked Kaylee in disbeilief."Look,I know what I saw.They're first attack must have been nothing more than a ploy to get us to be weakened for they're night assault."he said,thoughtfully rubbing his chin."But,if that's true,then that means they can see me in my pajamas!"said Diane,hiding behind the door of the room.Nin looked over at her."No one is going to see your 'I love GK' shirt,or your purple polka dotted pants that say 'Bite me' all over them.Anyways,back on topicP) we have to prepare for battle.Get dressed,and get into your battle stations...".Everyone walked back off to the respective rooms to change,and Nin looked out into the forest.Maybe,if Nin and his group circled around the forest,and came in from the back....aha!He had an idea.But he wouldn't even tell his own army,in fear of treason,or perhaps a spy overhearing them.He had to keep it in his head.

Chappy 77

Kaylee ran back to her turret, feet padding softly on the hard-packed ground. She threw on her clothes and pulled a comb through her hair. She had no time to tie it up, she could hear the hubbub downstairs, so she just pulled it back in a low ponytail and tied her shoes quickly. She had been having strange dreams all night, and it seemed like she was seeing through someone else's eyes. She had flashes and in them she saw AA's camp. Kaylee saw the army tighten their catapults and sling shots, and she scrambled downstairs.

Kaylee saw that everyone was waiting in line for breakfast. She screamed at them, "GRAB SOMETHING AND GO! GO! GO! MAN YOUR STATIONS!" Kaylee ran into the kitchen, grabbed a granola bar, and flew to her station. It was still early in the morning, about 2:30 or so, but she knew they were coming soon. Kaylee kept having flashes, and Ninji checked back with her often to know where the AA was.

Kaylee saw the army ride over the horizon of the border. She took a deep breath. Loaded her slingshot, pulled it back, aimed it, and let loose. She could hear Akuma's muffled cry as the huge ballon hit him square in the chest.

The great Water Balloon Battle had begun.

Chapter 78:

Nin jumped out of the third floor window,and charged at Argyle.Throwing a shuriken,it had a water baloon tied to it.The shuriken cut the string tied to it,and the water baloon dropped off towards Argyle.Either Argyle could jump and be hit by the shuriken,or be hit by the water baloon.He was hit by the baloon.Nin jumped down,and approached Akuma."Well,I never thought I'
d see YOU on the ground....".A figure ran past him,and obviously jumped into the fort."Dang!That was Buddy!"he said,jumping back into the fort.Buddy burst through the wall,a giant water baloon flying at him.Nin created a small barrier around him,and knocked the baloon back.A giant explosion occured in the room,and water flooded out of the window,with body's unconcious Buddy.He sputtered and coughed."My Giant Baloon failed?!"he shouted.Several energy charged water baloons shot out of the window,and Buddy frantically ran back to Akuma and Argyle."Get us out of here!"he said.Argyle grabbed Akuma and Buddy,and teleported flew off back to thier campo in the forest!"Kaylee,hit 'em now!SHOOT THE TURRENT!!!!"he shouted.Kaylee loaded the turrent and aimed and......
