I think that with the track record of my personal religion's past, it's a big and easy-to-hit target. I don't like it at all but there was a lot of coverup that allowed the abuse to continue. If I had to guess why is the Christian Ministry is being singled out, IMO, it's for the reason that so much was swept under the carpet, one traumatized person may feel let down by the liturgical, legal, and mental health system. Some of these boys and girls who were treated so badly and simply were told not to embarrass their families or hurt the Church by making it public AND coaching them to blame themselves for letting it happen while showing again how their mother didn't make mistakes in who she trusted their kids with but the kid was the one who was evil. That is a hardcore shame with no source of reprieve for their shame. I can totally understand why someone from those situations would have anxiety or panic attacks when their trauma is set before the rest of the class or even a group of adultsNo. But why would a university single out Christian clergy because of alleged abuse and not other organisations? It's more likely they're just anti-Christian.
In that case, may God bless you as wellI end all my posts with a greetings and a smiley face. God Bless You![]()
