Here's more of my story, "Isha's Dream." We are strating Chapter 2

Chapter Two
The Meadow

One moment Isha was in the cave with Yeshua and the next she was standing on a flowering hillside overlooking the Sea of Galilee. Everything had changed. A garment, as light as a lavender mist sprinkled with plum colored roses, gracefully covered her body. The Beloved appeared in a robe white and shimmering floating about him like a cloud. His head shown in golden splendor encircled in rays of glory. Turning toward Isha he smiled most graciously and offered his hand as she knelt as his feet.

‘Do you recognize this place?” Yeshi asked.

Hills and meadows stretched out before her, covered in red lilies, and wild flowers of every kind. The jewel of Galilee, the sea, looked like a glass harp surrounded by generous mountain ranges. Where she had knelt in worship to the Savior, tiny bell-shaped blossoms not only sprang in greeting but passed through her body as well. She could actually see and smell the flowers WITHIN her. The same marvel happened to Yeshua. How beautifully the wounds of his feet filled to the brim with the small white flowers. Joyful tears sprang from her eyes.

“Be praised dearest Yeshua!” She cried looking up at his face.

Messiah lifted her to his side.

“Is this the hill where many of your people heard the message of the Kingdom of Heaven?” wondered Bride.

“Yes, the very hill!” Yeshua replied stretching his arms wide. With words tender and compassionate, his voice echoed across the hills embracing all the land.

“How happy are the poor in spirit,
Theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven,
Happy the gentle,
They shall be comforted.
Happy those who hunger and thirst for what is right;
They shall be satisfied.
Happy the merciful:
They shall have mercy shown them.
Happy the pure in heart:
They shall see God.
Happy the peacemakers:
They shall be called the sons of God.
Happy those who are persecuted in the cause of right:
Theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven.”

Yeshua nodded and said emphatically, “Blessed indeed are the pure in heart for they shall see God!”

Gazing at Bride he took her hand and lifted it to his face. Slowly he guided her fingers across the contour of his cheeks, the noble line of his nose, the smoothness of his brow and the fragrant field of his beard. Lastly he touched her fingers to his lips which broke into a radiant smile.

With perfect happiness Isha beheld his face. Gone was the veil of the earthly life that had kept her from seeing him fully. How could she have been able to endure the resplendent beauty of his holy gaze while still unclothed in Heaven’s attire?

Isha exalted in her Love. “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness for they shall be satisfied.” Quite heartily she embraced Yeshua. “You are my righteousness and I am satisfied!”

Isha became more excited, “I would have loved…”
Yeshi interrupted, “What would you have loved?”
She flung her arms wide and took a deep breath. “Being here… in this place, in Galilee, when you walked upon the earth as a man. I can see myself standing on this hill among the crowds, listening to your words and watching you heal the sick.” She shut her eyes. “Oh Yeshua, I can almost see them, the excitement on each face. Everyone is on tiptoe trying to catch a glimpse of you.”
“Truly my Isha,” Bride heard him say. “Ah….would you look at that!?”

More of Chapter 2 and Isah'a Dream

“Truly my Isha,” Bride heard him say. “Ah….would you look at that!?”

Look is just what she did. Yeshua lifted his hand in a wide arc. Color, sights and sounds erupted all around her. Crowds…thousands stood in rapt attention. Earthen colored veils and robes, scarlet and silk draping the well dressed, babes in arms, children, men and women brushed against her. The smell of wildflowers mingled with the scent of the unwashed poor. Tall waving grass and a purple and gray sky, patched with sunlight framed the man who stood close enough to touch.

“Yeshua!” she gasped, wide eyed and incredulous. His brilliant white robe had vanished. Barefoot and weathered, dust golden in the folds of his brown robe, he turned toward her, his face sun kissed, with a smile that flashed between his beard. The Galilean stepped forward and lifted a little boy into his arms. Isha could see clearly the tell tale signs of blindness in the child’s eyes. They were completely clouded over with a pale blue film. Gently Yeshua laid hands on the boys eyes, kissed him and when he removed his hand the boy cried, “Oh I can see! The light, the light!” In the safety of Yeshua’s arms he buried his head weeping. Yeshua smoothed his hair and whispered words of comfort. Soon the child was looking into Messiah’s face and smiling. Isha smiled too seeing the child’s joy while all around her the crowd cheered and applauded.

“Yeshua Min N’Zareth!”

The roar of thousands of voices thrilled her.
In the midst of great jubilation the sky broke and a delicious down pour of summer rain drenched the multitude. Most everyone ran seeking shelter. Yeshua quickly handed the boy back to his grateful mother. She covered the child with a veil, bowed to the Master and swiftly departed. Isha would not go. She did not want to leave Yeshua, not even for a moment.

Yeshua surveyed Bride when they were alone, standing face to face in the rain. Yeshi’sympathetic smile “My Shulamite!” He sighed. “Look at you!”

Isha folded her arms. “Man of Galilee…” She wiped another rain drop from the tip of her nose. And really for the first time she noticed her own dark blue robe soaked through and looking much like his. A poor and patched garment it was.

“You must be from the southern country like I am… from Nazareth.” He observed. “You look like one of our shepherdess’.” His eyes brightened. “And a very beautiful one, I must say.”

He burst out in laughter. Great rays began to stream forth from his person. Beginning at the hem of his robe, a weaving of gold replaced his threadbare garment. The rain too became as luminous liquid drops of gold falling from the sky. Eagerly Yeshua lifted his arms, opening his mouth to catch the drops. He encouraged Bride,

“Come, taste and see that the Lord is good!”

A single drop fell on Isha’s tongue. Warm and indescribably delectable in her mouth, she savored it before swallowing. The drop remained like an oval of light pulsating in her belly causing lovely sensations.

Quite exuberantly Bride agreed. “Yes! The Lord IS good!”

Yeshua shared her joy. “Praise to Abba!”

Together they spun around, locked in an embrace, faces lifted, mouths opened…The rain
Drops ran down hair and cheeks, saturating clothing and bodies, their laughter became a fountain gushing and filling the air.

Isha laughed so hard that her cheeks ached. If a groan could be whimsical Yeshua’s certainly was as well as the grimace on his face when he grasped his stomach.
“It is a welcome ache, is it not?” A gentle stream of laughter followed his words.

Bride nestled her cheek on Yeshua’s breast. “Abba is good.”

The Savior nodded. “Yes my shellee. He is good.”

“I am longing to see Him.” Isha sighed. “I want to thank Him for His gift.”
The rain had seized except for a few lingering drops. Yeshua lifted one from His bosom and placed it into her mouth. He followed after her tasting one on her cheek.

“He is here.” Yeshua exclaimed placing his hand on his heart. “My Father is here.”

Immediately Isha kissed the Messiah’s heart. The gesture brought a sigh to his lips.

“He fills all things and is on His throne.” Bride saw solemnity filling His face as well as deep love and honor. “Soon you shall see Him.” He added with a smile, “When I present you as my Queen in Heavens court.”

"It's a welcome ache, isn't it?"

**** Oh yes it is***** An ache that I do not want to live without. It's a paradox. How do He and I endure this groaning aching longing? Yet to live with out it is not an option!

P.S.... I DID see MY name in there Amy! ;) ;)

I pledged Him my love.

Four years ago, November 30th 2003 I participated in an ecumenical celebration where at least twenty women said vows promising to live a more "bridal life" unto Jesus. The women were not actually becoming nuns as these were both married and single women. I have chosen to be "married to Jesus" for more then twenty years and I always wanted to participate in a real wedding ceremony. Because I was not Catholic I didn't think it could happen in the traditional way, but that night Jesus proved me wrong.

The white material was rolled out for me to walk upon. I was given a white rose. I stood beneath a jewish huppah. My wedding ring was blessed by a Catholic priest. (Jesus had given it to me years ago but that's another awesome story.) A white veil was placed on my head.

There was an icon of Jesus at the altar. When the priest lifted my veil he said, "when I lift the veil you shall behold the face of your Bridegroom." After that I said literal vows the only difference being, instead of "until death do us part," I said, "And even death will not part us." "You may Kiss your Bridegroom" said the Priest. And I kissed the Icon believing my kiss was going right to Jesus!

We even had a wedding cake afterwards! The whole night was a dream come true. Jesus, knowing my hearts desire made a way for me.

Set Me as a seal...

On the eve of my fourth anniversary my nephew gave me the gift of a free tattoo! I chose a purple rose with pink highlights with my Bridegroom's name written in red.
I picked the color purple because purple stands for His Passion. His name is written in red representing His blood. The tattoo was done on my left hand. At first I was going to do it on my lower forearm but right then and there I decided to do it on my hand because the crucifixion nail went through Yeshua's hand. There is a verse in the Song of Solomon where the Beloved says to the Bride, "Set Me as a seal on your arm." 8:6 (In my case its my hand.) The rose didn't have thorns when my nephew originally did it but before he finished I told him to add the thorns. I wanted to have a reminder of Yeshua's crown of thorns. Yeah, it hurt but I kept thinking that my pain was the tinest glimpse of what He suffered for me.

The tattoo looks awesome! I showed it to the guys a church and they were amazed that I had the courage to have my first tat done on my hand! I had a picture taken of it and when I get the pictures I'll post what it looks like here.

Amy, thanks so much for sharing that! both the stories, and about your wedding.

That's awesome that Jesus provided a way for you to have this ceremony; He definitely knows our hearts! It sounds so beautiful! It must have been such a special day for you. :D I love the part about "even death will not part us". AMEN. :amen: And that's so cool that you got to hold a white rose and wear a veil =D

That's interesting about the icon! Are you Eastern Orthodox by any chance? because my family is EO (as for me, I'm kinda mix of everything, lol, I guess that makes me non denom), and sometimes I go to their church...and there are lots of icons there, and I always make sure I kiss the one with Jesus. (everyone does this at the church, it's how you venerate icons - in case you didn't know ;) ..you cross yourself and bow and kiss the feet of the person). Well what you said reminded me of that.

My wedding ring was blessed by a Catholic priest. (Jesus had given it to me years ago but that's another awesome story.)

ooh I wanna hear! :D that is..if you want to tell us, haha. No pressure.

About the tattoo, wow I have to say you are brave my friend! lol! I was such a chicken even when I got my ears pierced. haha. But that just makes me think, I can't imagine how much He suffered =(

And sure, we'd love to see the pics! =D

God bless

About wedding rings:

I have a bit of a story :)
I was at a friend's house, and I saw that she had one of those Irish Claddagh rings. I didn't know what it meant, but I thought it looked cool.
Several months afterwards, I was shopping at a jewellery store, and saw a similar ring, and bought it. But once I found out what it means, and how you can wear it either to show that you are 'taken' or 'single', I didn't really feel like wearing it anymore...because I'm single but I didn't want to turn it upside down, lol.
It's been in my jewellery box for ages, and I forgot it was there, until last night when I was looking for a pair of earrings... and I put it on, and remembered reading about how some people use them as wedding rings.
And I wondered why I have this ring at all. I heard somewhere that usually they are gifts from the person you are with, but I just bought it for myself and never wear it. But then, I thought of Jesus, and I kinda feel like that's my wedding ring now ;) lol! I mean..I consider myself a Bride of Christ and I own a wedding ring, hmmm :) why not.

Thanks AmyLisa and Monica! :D

Monica,

Here's a little about my wedding ring. BTW I'm glad you starting wearing yours!

"Then there was the gold wedding band I found, a perfect fit for my finger with the word “sweetheart “ and a little heart engraved on it. What were the chances of that ring fitting my finger? I asked if the ring belonged to anyone. I knew the ring was from Jesus and He made sure that I found His gift. It was on the floor in the trunk of the car my friends had given me. They said it wasn't theirs. No one ever claimed. it. That was about six years ago and its the ring the priest blesed. I'm wearing it today."

Yeah, I'm all ears, too.

Been busy at the kettle. This past week they had me work shorter hours Tuesday and Thursday but Friday (today) and Saturday are 8 hours (10 to 7). Have been getting more used to the songs, and two different people have encouraged me to sing louder! The man who exchanges the full kettles for empty ones said my kettle was a really good one yesterday. They have not told me how much I bring in though for many years and I feel shy to ask. At this location there has been no one who has reacted negatively to my singing. And a number of people have been outspoken about the things of the Lord. Like the man who said to me today (when I wasn't even singing a Christian song), "God good to you?" "Oh, yes," I said. "All the time?" he asked. "All the time!" I replied. And he asked me what church I went to, and then he told me he knew a couple who used to go there.

Thanks for being proud of me. It actually is the only job I have been able to get and "keep." I did work at a workshop one year in assembling and packaging stuff, but the pay was very low and they didn't have anything for me to do after Christmas there, either. I am hoping to get a part-time job as an office assistant or phone worker. My daughter wants me to work for Comcast so we can get free DSL.

Haha, I must have thought the bottom of page 53 was the end of the thread. "I'm all ears" referred to wanting to hear about Amy's ring and her other blessings, and I see here that she's already written about the ring. I just love those "found" gifts from the Lord. Oh, heh. Here's one I remember. One year on Halloween I dressed up as a new creature in Christ wearing the full armor of God. For the breastplate of righteousness I had a tank top with a "heart of gold" on the front, I believe. I ended up going to a bar and hanging out and witnessing to people alone. On the ground I found a "heart of gold"--not real gold but gold colored. I could tell it had come off an earring. I was able to put it on a necklace. I just love that Neil Young song. I put together some of my own songs with a few songs by others for a concept album called "Wanted." And "Heart of Gold" was one of the songs on it. Later, in a song of my own called "Wanted Man," I sing, "when wanting means
a heart of gold
to wash away the mold
from your homesick, sin-burdened soul."

Oh, heck, I could post the whole song, "Wanted Man," if you like. It goes like this:

Seems like yesterday
You held her hand
and yet you've run away
and now you stand a wanted man.
They tried to hold you down and now they're chasing you to earth's end,
You've got to fend for yourself,
for yourself, for yourself.

But you know inside they're not really the ones who are chasing you,
It's a voice so seldom heard,
Haunting, calling, crying,
You hide!

Seems like yesterday
someone walked this life's road,
It wasn't the you you see today,
The poster's grown so old for a wanted man.
They say they want to hang you when they catch you for all you've done,
though only one should punish you,
punish you, punish you.

But you know inside they're not really the ones who are chasing you,
It's a voice so seldom heard,
Haunting, calling, crying,
"Mine!"

A wanted man,
so hard to find
when wanting means wanting to change, and not just bind,
When wanting means a heart of gold
to take away the mold
from your homesick, sin-burdened soul.
It's got to be a fable--but no!

This Sheriff has the key to let you out of prison,
To him you are his wanted man,
wanted man, wanted man,
Wanted man...
Wanted man...
Wanted man.

That song is really cool. Makes you think!

Robin, I am glad for you about your job with the Salvation Army. And I know what you mean about not having been able to keep other jobs! Same with me, because of problems with my back and legs. Arggh.

Amy...thanks for posting that beautiful painting! Actually it makes me laugh today....Saturday is the only day I can sleep in, but my Mario woke up bright and early today and wouldn't let me really sleep after that. So I wish Jesus would tell Mario, "Do not awaken my love until she pleases!" ;-)
