CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

No one watches it. I like it well enough, but they still seem to have trouble juggling the attention-getting shock value with the social commentary.Bluwav said:no one likes it?

I like the comic strip, and the few episodes of the TV series I've found to have the same cynical, yet biting humor of the comic. I don't watch Cartoon Network much, but if I'm prompted to switch to it when I'm watching, I will.

The Boondocks is rated TV MA because of its content. It is freature on Adult Swin for adults only at that time. I have seen a few episodes and thouhgt they were ok . I don't like the boys cussing though or showing disrecpt to their grandfather but, I think that is part of the show. If you don't like it you can email the webmaster and voice your disapproval. BTW my favorite character on the show is the little girl even though I can't remember her name. She is cute though.

I prefer the comic strip and agree with McCracAttack's assessment.. personally I think the comic strip does a better balancing act..
I LOVE the comic and was disappointed with the show.. although I have to admit.. I've seen it only twice...
