The Book of Daniel

As I was watching "It's a Wonderful Life" this evening for about the 100th time, (I just LOVE this movie), I saw a commerical for this "The Book of Daniel". It appears to be a parody, a comedy if that's what they wish to call it.

Did anyone or has anyone else seen this, and if so what do you think about it?

Personally, I'm disgusted. I saw nothing funny about it at all.

If it's the program I think you're talking about, it's not about the Biblical book of Daniel but a comedy about a Doctor who happens to be named Daniel.

No, this is definitely about a man of the cloth. Not a doctor.

It's about a minister that apparently talks to Jesus. His wife is a drinker, his son is gay, his daughter is a drug dealer, and his gay secretary is dating his sister-in-law. Then they have the nerve to say it's about a typical Christian family.

What's TRULY SAD, is that this country/world has come to such a place as to actually think this IS typical.
