I'm a big fan of the classic Father Brown stories by G.K. Chesterton: The Complete "Father Brown", by G. K. Chesterton
Also of the classic detective novels written by Dorothy L. Sayers.
And of the Marcus Didius Falco novels by Lindsey Davis.
Ah! I've seen the Father Brown series on tv but never read the books. I will have to check these out.
