Can we pray for the Church?


As our world changes around us it seems that the church has began to crumble under its constant persicution. It feels like our eyes are no longer fixed on the cross of Christ. We must stand on the rock!!! Let us pray

Heavenly Father, how long will we allow ourselves to change the face of Christ? How long will we betray your name for the sake of "fitting in"? Let us keep our eyes trained on you Father. Let us walk in your light Jesus. For who so ever calls on your name shall be saved you promise us that in Romans 10:13 Father! Let us preach that message to all nations! Thank you Jesus! Keep us Oh Lord ~Amen~

Lord, may Your light shine through in dark places. Father, be with us during this great ordeal that is going on with the Church. Father, they seem to be straying away from Your word, and taht's somethign You do not want to see of us. Father, lead us all into Your truth, Father, that they may not be so leniant on issues, and that they remain politically correct. Father, the last thing You want is that the Church falls due to satan's persecutions, the secularism inside our country. Father, guide us in Your way. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Lord,
I pray to You to hold these ppl, your Servant on the Rock U provided. Give them wisdom to deal with the evils which on the move all the time. I trust you will not let the enemy easily mock Your church. Send them running away. Lets remind them they have been defeated and will be defeated again and again. I trust in Your Great Will, we hold the victories in Your name.
In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.

Lord we ask that you open the eyes of the church. Let them be obedient to the Word of God. Give them direction and guidance. Help them to use their gifts given to them by the Spirit effectively. Let the church move in a way that brings glory to You. In Jesus name Amen.

Lord, We thank you and praise you that you are stronger than all obstacles the evil one may try to put in our way. This is Your great work upon the earth and none shall stand against you. Great is the Lord amoung all other names.

I stand with Brother Justin in community and spirit in asking you to bring the body of Christ back under one head, his. I ask that we are no more scattered to the four winds with our own doctrines and agendas but that you remind us all of the one true faith, the one true doctrine: that we are united in Christ having been purified in his blood on the cross and given hope for everlasting life by his ressurection. How simple you have made our hope. But how complicated have we determined your motivations when truely your only reason for doing all you do--you are driven by a heart of love. Amen Brother Justin .
Dear Jesus, this is my first prayer of the day , I thank you so much for bringing this prayer request to my attention. I do feel this this whole "fitting in" problem has gone far outside its boundaries. Lord ask ask that you guide us, I ask that you make your love so visible in our lives, that we may not deny your presence. Lord ask ask that you hold our hands everywhere we go, for we are your children, and without you, we'd be lost in the croud. Lord we know that you are patient, but we also know that you are coming soon, let us not stray from you sight. Lord, we long to be with you in the heaven you've promised, let us be patient while we wait, let us be patient with the world. Lord we know that for every temptation you provide a way out, let us see that way out as clear as we see the light of your love. I thank you Lord, for your son's sacrifice on the cross, Lord let us always remember, and may our actions reflect our gratitude for you precious gift. Thank you Thank you Thank you, I cannot thank you enough, but still I ask for your assistance, because without you, I am nothing. In Christ's holy name I pray, Amen.

Lord be with the church and let us fix our eyes as well as our hearts and souls on what the church is yours and the cross of the church is by leaning on you as well as praying and doing your will as well as way. Lord forgive us for trying to do things that compromise your will and way with us. Help us to be the Christians that you want us to be. Amen!!
