My oldest daughter is really into Astronomy. She's an aspiring astronaut.

So have you gone outside to see it?

Oh that mom ran so many of the newcomers and some of the moms off.

I'm not into all the stars and stuff--but when things like this happen--I'm totally fascinated

I'm surprised my 13 year old daughter hasn't mentioned it yet. She's been writing a mystery novel these last few weeks, so her interest in Astronomy has taken a backseat.

DH and I took our kids to the homeschool day at NASA a couple of years ago.

I took my dog out one morning about 1 or 2 and you could see it to the right of the moon--it wasn't huge but you could see it shining. Can't wait until the 27th when it is the closest....I want to see if I can get some pictures

I have been to the Kennedy Space Center several times...and I did love that...It's just that I don't actually follow alot of that stuff.

But I think that it would be cool to walk on the moon!

I could never pass any of the tests!

my uncle was the one to email a thing about it otherwise I would never had known

We were taken to the Mission Control Center and watched a mock shuttle launch.

We then drove up to the Gulf Coast for a while.

 

[GigageiTsula]

It was a short weekend trip.

I think that when we were in FL they were getting ready to move or just had moved one out where they launch. We were all excited about seeing all of that.

Your kids have gotten to do some great things!

My 13 year old daughter in now getting into Meteorology since she had a few lessons of it through her computer curriculum.

We were at the NASA Space Center in Houston.
