There are quite a few homeschoolers in Texas. There just isn't a good homeschool group in our area anymore. There was a good group and co-op when we first started homeschooling, but it has since disbanded.

We did that too. One did karate, one gymnastic, one swimming and Zach was too little to do any of it except to watch!

I use to teach American History and World History in our co-op. I loved it.

My oldest son and his age group did a play one year. It was great. One of the moms used to work at NASA, but quit to raise and homeschool her children. She taught science and Astronomy classes.

It disbanded because of personality clashes I think. There was this one mother, with 6 daughters, who came in and decided she was going to run the whole thing single handily. That didn't go over well at all. She was not an easy person to get along with in the first place.
