Darwins theory is hundreds of years old and OUTDATED! It's amazing that biology has totally disproved the idea of evolution with all we now understand about the human body and the cell. Even the worlds brightest scientists ADMIT cells in the human body are "Divine".. What are the odds of evolution? It would be like a tornado going through a scrap yard and fully assembling a 747 jet!! The chances of it happening is GREATER then the number of atoms in ALL the universe!

Watch to be amazed!

Exactly. Tomorrow is way off from the real world of science.

You are wrong. It's more like a tornado going through a scrap yard in LA and fully assembling a 747 jet then flying it with fully loaded with people to Japan and land safely at an airport. The chance is 0.

Actually, the reverse is true. Darwin's ideas have been surprisingly robust. It's changed, of course, as evidence has presented itself, but his idea of natural selection as the guiding process has withstood the test of time.

That's true, Smidlee, if evolution is a random process. But I believe it has a definite direction and is directed ted by God.
Of course bringing God into man's science is like cheating. God can bend the laws of physics like a rubber band so once God enter in the picture man's science no longer applies.

God may not be so inclined as to bend the laws of physics, Smidlee. After all, it is God who put in place the laws of nature, in the first place. I doubt if he installed something that would block him from interacting with the world and so has to be broken down by him. Also, the laws of nature do not always hold up. They describe only very limited aspects of nature. There is much freedom, creativity, and spontaneity in nature. And then there is the matter of how you want to conceive of God's own nature. If you think of God as supernatural, then, yes, there is a tension with science. However, I believe God is best thought of as supra-natural, the chief exemplification of all metaphysical principles. For example. we all influence each other and therefore are omnipresent, though in a very limited sense. God, as chief exemplification of this principle of relativity, would be omnipresent throughout the universe in the fullest sense of the word. That means there is a direct, immediate flow of creaturely feeling into God, and a direct, immediate flow of God's feelings into creatures. Encounters with God really aren't supernatural or some alien intrusion; they simply represent the basic way the universe operates. I like to think of treh universe as the body of GOd.

Oops1 Sorry, Praterfamilia, my computer, for some reason, set off my previous email when I wasn't finished with it. The last sentence should read: I like to think of teh universe as the body of God. Put another way: The deeper we probe the universe, the more like a living organism it seems. Now every complex living organism has a brain. So the universe must have a brain; and then if you became aware of some sort of direct communication from the brain, you would have a near-mystical experience. It is so far beyond you that you would fall on humbled knee and maybe want to worship.

Laws of physics is the way we interpret the world that doesn't mean that the way God interpret and see the universe. I don't see God as supernatural as much as He is above that which is natural.
It's the same man creates an universe call "World of Warcraft" as man is not a super being or supernatural in the "World of Warcraft" but the creator. I don't see the universe as the body of God no more I see a PC as the body of man. Just as man "universe" is created by code (man speaking to a PC through the keyboard) so is our universe created by the "WORD" of God.

Thanks for sharing your view, Smidlee. I am curious to know more about the attributes you attribute to God. Is God a personal or impersonal being to you? What exactly does being not supernatural but above nature mean for God? As I mentioned above, I view God as supra-natural, not supernatural. I view God as the chief exemplification of all metaphysical principles.
