Well, if you've read any of my posts on this subject, you can tell I am a strong believer in the Big Bang Theory.

I think that it's very similar to evolution in the sense that it's very misunderstood scientific theory (he name itslef and give people wrong ideas of what it is). I'll admit there are a few unknowns about it here and there, but for the most part it's pretty solid.

So what do you guys think about this?

I think it's pretty awesome. The cosmic background radiation experiment was pretty awesome. Hearing it explained by George Smoot himself in a lecture was definitely convincing.

You should not be blending the word of God with the cult of Sciences. We do not make God in our own head. Scientist can’t seem to make up there own minds, did we come from an explosion or did we come from monkeys. I find the whole theory laughable.

I know that the Bible isn't a science book. And "Sceinces is wrong?" What, all of it? Including gravity and atomic theory, the ones that don't tread on certain religious people's toes?

Not sure exactly the point you're trying to make here. Anything can be used for good or evil. But it doesn't stop these things from being correct theories if they match experimental observations.

so atomic theory is wrong? didnt that experiment prove atomic theory is correct?

scientific theories have no moral implications. many species of animal eat young of their own species. that's a fact. are there any moral implications for our lives? no! theyre animals, they do what they gotta do to survive and ensure the best genes are present in the gene pool. facts are facts, even when we dont like them.

Firstly, it's spelt evolution. Calling it evilution is about as meaningful as people who think Barack Obama is Muslim because he has Hussein as a middle name.

And doesn't the Bible teaches us that human nature causes these things? So, in a way evolution would be correct if it "taught" that, but evolution is a scientific theory, not a moral code - that privilege belongs to the Bible. Please don't try and pass the buck.

The Big Bang theory is scientifically verified. It predicts a background radiation in space at a certain temperature. We sent up some survey satellites. And guess what? We found it.

The poll was conducted by ordinary CF members, and there are quite a few people who voted who were Christian and accept evolution, so not "people who hate God", as you put it. So as you can see, evolution and cosmology don't stop people believing in God per se.

cite a source that shows that those things increased as a result of acceptance evolution. even if true it wouldnt mean that evolution is incorrect. we are animals, we are apes, we are primates. we live in an insignificant rock at an insignificant solar system at an insignificant spot in an insignificant galaxy among the billions upon billions of others.

The big bang theory doesnt exclude God any more than static electricity does as an explanation for lightning.
