  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

The Bible is being Re-defined, (even in internet forums), for Global Harmony.

A True Peace? :preach:

___________
This subject is about: It is Written verses the dialectic process (the soviet language structure).

Man, and this foundation is demonic folks, are ~changing~ the language structure of God's Word to a feel good, what do you think, what is your opinion dialectic structure language. And the Word of God doesn't only get chained to a pulpit it become a second class citizen - forsaken. And this foundation is winning - the devil is removing God's Word from many Christians hearts - daily as they choose to live in lawlessness.

And that is the attempt to re-define The Word of God for Global Harmony (where lawlessness abounds). Is it Harmony/Peace?

I've seen it. Words don't get changed but meanings are sometimes coming out of left field. Idolatry of self mixed with self-delusion maybe. Just twist until all is justified. It seems to make a good opiate. I read just today where a poster (bearing a Christian icon) declared he was more enlightened than God. I really don't think a Christian can experience peace if they are being disobedient to God's word. Not true peace. There's always going to be that nagging, pulling uneasiness. I think the farther away from God one withdrawals themselves the harder it is to feel it. I think very often this lack of peace manifests itself outwardly. Others can often see outright or sense it.

It adds to the issue when bible believing Christians are told to 'keep in at home' or 'keep it at church'. Well Jesus told me NOT to keep it at home or church. I have a Commission. We are to let our light shine not hide it or bury it. Good thing Paul didn't keep it at home.

The 'world' will hate God. That is nothing new. It isn't the first time His word has been attacked. What is so sad is that increasingly it's the people who are supposed to be called to live in the world but be not of it that are disregarding God's words to suit their desires. There's big difference between repentance and seeking God's will and self-justifying sin.

Redefining God's word to make everyone happy and to be 'politically correct' by allowing relative morality: denies the glory, justice, and holiness of God, denies the need for the gospel, denies the purpose of Christ and our means of redemption. Jesus was rather 'politically incorrect' for His day. God promises His word will endure until the end and He will keep a remnant. It's still sad.

~~~
Col. 2:8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.
John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.
Ps. 119:133 Direct my footsteps according to your word; let no sin rule over me.
Ps. 12:8 The wicked freely strut about when what is vile is honored among men.
Hi thee tisamy,
BINGO!!!
Redefining God's word to make everyone happy etc. is actually practicing Heresy on The Word of God.
denies the need for the gospel
Well said.
And your so right, God's Word will endure until the end and (FOREVER) and we shall not all die for it's like you said ~He will keep a remnant~. It is sad. I fear for my generation.
EXCELLENT VERSES FROM GOD'S WORD, thank you so much!
its nothing new, people who claim to be believers have often twisted Scripture to make it fit what they want to believe or change the meanings of words to make it fit their presupposed theology/political standings. Even Eusebius (i believe it was) wrote about people in his day using the argument you'll hear a lot today - Mary wasn't a virgin as we would believe because the Greek word for virgin just referred to a young unmarried woman. That nullifies the sign that Israel was given about the coming Messaih and leaves the door wide open to make countless speculations about Christ's average every day conception and birth, Christ being nothing more than a man who somehow managed to entertain a wide audience and share his own beliefs that were heavily influenced simply by the theological and political environment He grew up and lived in.
The lies, twisting, and deception won't stop until this earth has been done away with and we're all living in the New Jerusalem.
It's been happening Check the Jeffersonian Bible.
Thomas Jefferson believed that the ethical system of Jesus was the finest the world has ever seen. In compiling what has come to be called "The Jefferson Bible," he sought to separate those ethical teachings from the religious dogma and other supernatural elements that are intermixed in the account provided by the four Gospels. He presented these teachings, along with the essential events of the life of Jesus, in one continuous narrative
NewGuy101, thanks!
In regards to "Redefining" - this is some things which is outside your door right now as One Unified Global Word/World, and it has no room for The "Word" of God, it's unashamed in lawlessness.
____________________________
1. Redefining the Church
2. Redefining "Literacy" for a New world Order
3. C. Peter Wagner Redefines Genesis 1
4. Redefining the world morals
5. Redefining Government (GLOBALLY)
6. Redefining Evangelism
7. Redefining the Bible as doing good works (for Brian McLaren - one Emergent Leader)
8. Redefining terms of words
9. Redefining Angels
10. Removing 'rights' by redefining them as privileges
11. Redefining "original sin" as "collective insanity": No serpent in the garden as evil.
12. Redefining Christianity into a Dialectical Christianity: the praxis of heresy
http://www.crossroad.to/articles2/007/Gotcher/dialectical-christianity.htm
And this redefining works have one common language see #12.
Ah, so sad.
Did he never read Jesus' statement, "Man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God"?
Some people come so close to Jesus and nearly touch his garment, and then become distracted by the deceptions of the world.
Like the muslim, how could any rational person possibly claim to believe Jesus was a "good teacher", and yet not believe the Old Testament, nor believe his teachings concerning himself? What a contradiction.
The demonic (our real warfare) won't say in the flesh of men "brainwashing" so they use Redefining/Redefine etc.
BRAINWASHING
Bennis wrote of Lewin’s “Unfreezing, Changing, Refreezing” dialectic process and its use by the Communist Chinese for the purpose of brainwashing. This is the same procedure and the same steps used in a facilitated meeting.
Human%20Relations_small.jpg
http://www.authorityresearch.com/AR...ng.htm#Four_steps_to_group_centered_outcome._
You can see why students are learning less facts. "Less is more" we are told. Less teaching of facts (deductive reasoning) allows more time for socialist brainwashing (inductive reasoning). Private schools and home schooling material is not exempt from these programs.
Along those lines...
I just cannot get over how many people I'm seeing these days who are into all sorts of liberal heresies (pro-gay, pro-abortion, universalism, embracing other religions like Buddhism, Islam, etc.), and not only do they insist on calling themselves Christian, but they want to claim the title conservative or even fundamentalist. Yet what they believe is anything BUT! That people will lie, even to themselves, is nothing new, of course. But I don't get why they have this need to even take on such labels. The amount of twisting and "redefining" that is needed for that is incredible, and I'm sure quite exhausting. What's the point - especially when their like-minded friends would actually chastise them for even wanting such a label. I pray that each of them will one day let go of all such garbage and surrender and rest in the God of truth.
I've even seen many claim that they believe the Bible is the inspired, inerrant, complete word of God. BUT when you get into the details you find they have found ways to dismiss large portions of it, calling it "myth", or culturally irrelevant, etc. Oy.
