Freedom of speech? I can't believe what I'm reading here!

Don't you think Danny and Linda have a say in what is posted about them in a public domain? Don't you think that they should be the ones to decide whether or not they want something like this to be set up on their behalf?

People are arguing with each other over what the truth is about them; yet, don't these people even care about the damage that is being caused to both Danny and Linda over this? Are we to publicly humiliate people like this? Don't these people understand that stuff like this causes great emotional pain to those who are the object of such outrage?

I can't control what is put on the Internet, but I can at least attempt to encourage others to be more respectful of the privacy of others. I realize that many people have an issue with such a request because they so love to pry into other peoples lives; but my request that such slanderous trash not be posted in this forum still stands.

Such a set-up would not edify our church in the least bit, nor would it glorify God; rather, it would give Satan a foothold on the productivity of God's people, and thus hinder the work of Jesus Christ as the Holy Spirit would continue to be grieved by those who are not making good use of God's time!

Why can't we just talk about Jesus rather than throw stones at each other? Really!

Which activity of the two does God approve of?

Danny is a Public personality. All this comes with the territory. You don't want to throw stones? Yet, your post is a very poor example indeed, since stones were aimed straight for me for only a suggestion! Is that what Jesus would do?

Surely anyone that has been reading can tell there is a mess out there. I still believe in my plan.

It is mannerly and everyone has their chance to post their rebuttals and opinions.

As things stand now, only one person is being served. The members have feelings and thoughts and facts also, yet, when a point of truth is posted, the OP shuts it down.

I posted documented court documents and IRS Form 990's which are the Tax returns sent in by 3ABN each year.

I did not post my opinions, That was straight from legal documents. The thread got immediately closed. Was that fair?

It is the truth that is being suppressed here. And by the way I believe in the ministry of 3ABN. I am praying it will survive and thrive and it is!

The problem is the Leadership and Management. I believe EACH side needs a chance to be heard, not just one as it is now.

Let Danny and Linda handle their own business. To put personal information in a public domain that is capable of hurting either one of them, is not appropriate.

There are places to handle such matters. Such places are not forums, but courts.

Now, I was kind enough to ask you and some others not to turn this into a 3ABN thread. Please show me some respect and refrain from doing what I had asked you not to do.

Just so you know, I do not oppose freedom of speech; rather, I oppose an abuse of rights. All things are lawful, but not all things are good. In other words, we have the freedom to say and do whatever we want, but that doesn't mean we can say and do anything we want with impunity. There is a difference.
