The beast with 10 horns & 7 heads

I am amazed at some of the explanations that people come up with for these verses. The vision is quite easy to interpret. We only have to look at historical facts.

The beast is first described in Daniel 7 and then Revelations 12. Both chapters confirm it will be the Roman Empire. Daniel reveals four beasts that will rule. We know that from the time of Daniels it was first Babylon, then Persia, then Greece then Rome (the only nation to rule the Holy land since is Islam whom the Crusaders sent by the Pope signed it over to). Revelations 12 confirms that the beast will be in rule at the time of the birth of Christ.

The woman in Revelations 12 we know is the sons of Israel as confirmed at the very start of the nation of Israel in Joseph's dream (Sun & Moon & eleven stars = Gen 37:9),
It goes on to describe how the woman (Israel) gave birth to a son (Jesus) who will rule the Earth. It then says Jesus was taken up to Heaven and the woman had to flee (Romans destroyed the temple and drove Jews out of Israel into the other nations of the world).

The Bible says the beast has 7 heads which it says are hills and it shall have 10 heads which are kings. Then one smaller king will replace three kings.

Now come the facts about Rome.

Rome wasn't an Empire until Augustus (Octavian) became the first Emperor. Prior to Rome as an Empire it was first a kingdom, then a republic then the republic ended for ten years when it had a shared rule under three. Augustus then abolished the three king rule, re-establish Rome as a republic whilst making himself sole ruler.

1.Romulus, 2.Numa Pompilus, 3.Tullus Hostilius, 4.Ancus Marcius, 5.Lucius Tarquinius Priscus, 6.Servius Tullius, 7.Lucius Tarquinius Superbus

Rome then a republic (508bc – 43bc) Rome has no king but all decisions made by the senate who was a body made up of hundreds.
Gaius Octavian who came just towards the end of the Republic was the youngest ever to become a member of the senate.

In 43bc a Roman law known as the Lex Titia was passed that granted three leading men known as a Triumvirate the right to rule for a period of five years. This rule was given to Gaius Octavius, Marcus Aemilius Lepidus and Mark Antony. This rule of the three men lasted for two five-year terms (43bc – 33bc) which officially marked the end of the Roman Republic.

Gaius Octavius was a master of propaganda and through clever manipulation of the people of Rome He brought down the Lex Titia and make himself sole master of the Roman world. After the Lex Titia, Octavian restored the republic but also made himself as Emperor, which created the Roman Empire.

In 27bc the senate gave Octavian the title of Augustus meaning “the exalted / illustrious one”. He received the title of pharaoh in Egypt. Rome was at its mightiest under the rule of Augustus and is often regarded the mightiest man the world has ever seen, ruling most of the known world.
He ruled the Holy lands during the time of the birth of Christ.

He was even granted the title of Divi Filius meaning “the son of god” and upon his death was declared a god by the senate and to be worshipped by all Romans. The month of Sextilis was renamed Augustus (now August) in honour of his memory.

In total Rome had only ten true kings. Seven kings one after the other then a 10 years period of three at the same time. All Rome's emperors that followed ruled in the same way as Augustus. Leading up to rulers such as Constantine.
In addition to the ten kings (7 then 3 = 10), Rome was also built on seven hills. The names of the hills are all named after pre-Roman history & mythology.

This is pure historical facts. Not some loose theory built on molding facts to suit. Search "kings of Rome", "the second Triumvirate" (the first was illegal and not accepted), "Lex Titia", "7 hills of Rome" & "Augustus"

This yet another example of the 100% accuracy of prophecy within the Bible. The Bible is like no other book. The book itself confirms the existence and marvelous works of God.

Augustus is obviously not the anti-Christ (false Messiah). Just the first in that line of rule. We know the anti-Christ will be connected to this beast as Daniel 7 indicates this.

The Muslims believe and wait for a Mahdi (end time teacher descended from Muhammad) and also Jesus to come and will together bring peace to the earth for a last seven years before the time of judgement. We know that when Jesus comes it will not be as a man but will be in the sky.
The last seven years that the Muslims wait for are covered at the end of Daniel 9. All the other seven have happened. There is a last seven years are held off and haven't yet happened. This is because we are in the the time of the gentiles. When the last gentile that God has chosen is saved then the time will go back to the Jews. There will be peace for 3 1/2 yrs then world war against Israel for the remaining 3 1/2 yrs.

Good Post.....But many will not want to identify the 4th beast of Daniel 7 as Rome. I believe it is Rome. The harlot of revelation is Rome. But most will resist this identification.

The USA fits the description of the harlot riding the beast with 7 heads and 10 horns by control of the presidents
through the United Nations (the beast). She makes war for profit and control over the maddening wine of her fornication.
Black gold, the whole world is addicted to oil and it is in America where petroleum was first refined into gasoline.

The woman you saw is that great city that rules over the kings of the earth. Rev 17:18

Here is where the largest luciferian goddess of the Babylonians stands, Lady Liberty.

There are 5 powerfull permanent members in the security counsil of the United Nations and soon to add
a couple more permanent members possibly to make 7 , some demanding a permanent seat
like Germany, Brasil, Japan, and India because of the large amounts of money they pitch in to support
the many organizations it has created like the WTO, IMF, IAEA just to name a few.
The WTO controls the food and has divided the world into 10 regions one is NAFTA their old logo
were 10 horns their new logo is an inverted 666 it also looks like claws with a grip around the world.
The IMF is a world bank that lends money and makes false promisses to the 3rd world Countries
(also the 10 horns) to take over their natural resourses, the list of lies and deception goes on.
They are directly responsible for the death of millions of people through out the whole world since
their creation.

USA (babylon, eagle with wings ), UK (mother of babylon, the lion), Russia (gog-magog, the bear,
army from the north), China (the dragon paying for the wars) and France the leopard through
the United Nations control the 7 continents, seas( "the 7 heads are 7 mountains on which
the woman sits". Rev 17:9), with peacekeepers that rape and kill and are responsible for
using starvation as a weapon of war." And I saw a beast coming out of the sea.It had 7 heads
and 10 horns with 10 crowns in each horn and each head a blasphemous name". Rev 13:1
Resolution 666 of the United Nations Security Counsil is just that using starvation as a weapon of war
againts Iraq/Kuwat/Babylon. All these permanent countries are strong as IRON.

There are 10 non-permanent members elected by the General Assembly of the United Nations that share
the power with the 5 (iron) permanent members, for 2 years their vote counts.
Non-permanent countries are weak as CLAY
We know this is just a put on as we saw the Bush administration go into Iraq with only 4 votes
and not 9 out of the 15, 5 permanent and 10 non-permanet members. This clearly lets us see who is in
control of the UN in other words who rides the United Nations. The fact that there were no weapons of
of mass destruction and those responsible for killing millions for raging war are not behind bars
for the rest of their lives is aggravating and scary at the same time.

But we know that iron and clay do not mix we also know that CORPORATE AMERICA has wiped out
large populations in this weak countries and continues to kill and slotter in the wars it rages and they
hate CORPORATE AMERICA and its in their hearts to give back double as what she is dishing out.

The Roman Catholic Church is responsible for todays false Christianity and religious confussion .
Most if not all Christian religions are tentacles of the Roman Catholics Church that have MAKING
MONEY at the top of their list in common and will never admit to the fact that they are responsible for
the worship of statues, self proclaimed saints, have made Mother of Christ into a goddess, stand between you and
Christ and many more blasphemies. Some continue to promote war and the slotter continues at a greater scale
than ever before "After that, in my vision at night I looked and there before me was a fourth beast terrifying
and very powerfull. It had large iron teeth; it crushed and devoured its victims and trampled underfoot
whatever was left".It was different from all the former beast, and it had 10 horns.Daniel 7:7


No church will ever tell you any of the above or even want to go there.

I think Revelations 12 above all confirms the identity with ten horns and seven hills is Rome. It was there at the time of the birth of Christ and was responsible for sending the Jews out into the nations of the world.

Rome has not gone as seen in Daniel 2. It remains as a major city within an empire now split into many separate divisions yet still held together as a major alliance. An empire divided yet held together as one through treaties, pacts and unions etc.
