Well, I'm a lot rusty but I bet you I can pick up the cornet again, if no one minds listening to me practice. My daughter plays baritone (which is almost bigger than she is) and a valve trombone. She's learning guitar, and wants to take piano. (Praise the father for gifts, no?) If you're looking for singers, I'm your girl

As for music, there's nothing like a rousing march!

Praise the Lord, the band is complete.

2 cornets - yourself and chickette

2 tenor horns - Tracy's children

1 Baritone - your daughter

1 trombone - the 'gaffer'

1 bass - yours truely

1 flugal horn or French horn

Sounds like relatively-subtle manipulation and leadership-from-behind, to me...
(getting someone to lead by standing behind them is really a form of indirect leadership, isn't it?)

It's interesting - not sure B's quite used to being 'head of household' kinda thing - doing it gradually, so he gets used to it (he's used to more 'separate ideals', from past relationships, from what I can tell).

Haven't had any real dramas about it... it usually ends up that we come to the same conclusion, and if we don't, we both put forward our reasons why we want it a certain way, and then I leave the final decision up to him.

The only time that's happened was with a fridge he bought for the house - funnily enough, he chose the one I preferred!

Having a good rationale is always a good thing, with this submission thing...

Very quiet around here tonight. Britains in bed, Australia's at work, and Canada have gone AWOL. So I'm wandering round looking for someone to talk to. Went to see the Anglicans and got into an arguement about Henry 8th, I can't handle the Pentecostals at this time of the morning, and theres only so many times you can play the ABC of girls names before you go stark raving bonkers!! Should start a thread called the ABC of pointless threads!

Getting really tired again, be glad to get home to bed when this shift ends at 6am.
