Heh, I should have mentioned that along with the subtle double meaning. It was ment to look like a dove as well.

Because of what it represents, it shows mans struggle to fight against those who oppose him unfair and stand for he believes in truly, and his willingness to die for true love it also incorprates the fact that life in itself is futitle and we fight a daily struggle against it but fail to become what we could become if we truly tried and the fact that sometimes commas are forgot about whether wrong or rightly.


Or it could just me being irrelevant again.

A lot of people don't like earmouse but he's more than just a modified rat. He represents hope for burn victims specifically and others suffering from ailments that might be treated through genetic research.

IIRC, the ear is not a genetically manipulated human ear grown on earmouse, but is the result of genetic manipulation causing a human ear shaped cartillagenous growth on his back. The hope, again IIRC, was to grow pre-shaped cartillage for burn victims who had lost their ears when they were burned.

Earmouse is more than just funny looking/creepy, he represents the hope of medicine in the future.
