I love cars too. :) Boys never grow up - they still like their toys.

My favorite:

Mc Laren F1

It's the car where the driver seats in the center at the front (like a Formula One racing car) and the 2 passengers are seated behind him on the sides. :) The fastest and most expensive production car in the world.

Muscle cars: (favorite category) I have a 71 chevelle, so that's up there. I LOVE 67 gto's. However, my favorite over all would be a 69 plymouth Hemi GTX. good grief that Hemi is so sweet.

Older sports cars: 67 L88 vette, shelby cobra (yes, it has a ford engine, but I will forgive that this one time) the original testa rosa, and the original ferrari GTO.

New stuff, hate lambourghini's, low class ferrari knock offs. Nothing german does anything for me. probably my favorite is the Ferrari 575m Maranello.

of course, a viper taken to hennessee would be a nice thing to.

I can't STAND people rice. Who's genius idea was it to make a honda civic fast?

I love the vehicle I have. It's a Jeep Wrangler. Removable top and doors for fun in the sun. Hardtop and four wheel drive for snow in the winter. I take it offroad as it was designed, and it is way too much fun. It breaks often, so it costs a lot of money, but thats the sport of it all. It is a hobby much like anything else. The power involved in vehicles are why guys liek them so much. I have a wimpy four cylinder, which is hardly any power, but I have four wheel drive, so I can get over and through almost anything. :)

Here is a link to a bio on my Jeep and some pics of it in action.

Too big.. yeah :D

But you get all kinds of funny looks with huge tires. People just know you can drive right over their little cars if you want to. lol

One day I want to put my front tire up on the hood of my friend's miata, but paying for the damage would stink.

Honda Civics have motors that can stand modification.
Well, not all of them.
But a lot of the Japanese cars these days have steel cranks and rods and nice webbing on the alloy blocks.
I have an 86 civic si I bought for 200 dollars from a guy who learned what a timing belt is the hard way.
I treat that thing like a red-headed step-child and it still runs.
The valve guides in it are absolutely trashed. It's running the stock bearings with well over 200,000 miles and I run it to 7 grand constantly.
I'm hoping it blows up so I have an excuse to drop a twin-cam motor in it.

Hmm...an import guy comes in and kills the thread.
Actually, I like old chevy's. I got into imports...well, you could say it was an occupational hazard. I worked at an import shop and you build what you know. I haven't touched a Holley in over 5 years or seen a pushrod in about that much time. Range Rovers have an old Buick pushrod motor. Except the new ones get their motors from BMW now.
I wouldn't mind building an older 5.0L 5-spd coupe. Those cars are light and you can get them to go pretty good with a reasonable amount of "finesse."
