The Atheist Nightmare

I'm pretty sure many of you have seen Ray Comfort's old video "The Atheist Nightmare" where he used a yellow banana as evidence that an Intelligent Creator designs it perfectly to fit our hands. It wasn't until a few days ago I was having a debate on this particular issue. I've been told, Ray was wrong, in that the yellow banana that he argued for, was a selective breeding by humans. I've had an atheist told me, that the original bananas are very different from the ones we know today. He also claimed to know it's history.

Now here's my question. I have not look deep into this subject yet. But I'm curious if any of you have. Do we know the history of bananas and what is our response to this as Creationists?

The wild type banana is a small green thing. Those yellow ones you get at the store is a hybrid and it's infertile. It's been so selectively breed that its incapable of reproduction. As Darwin once said, 'the bane of horticulture is infertility'.

seeds or no seeds it still proves a creator because when messed with it didn't become either wheat( which is a kind of relative) or peach or anything else but what it is.

man can only make it dead and fat and lazy,
and if you eat to much of what man creates, chances are you also will be dead fat and lazy too .

chances are the seedy kind has way more nutrition in the seeds and even anti cancer benefits they never looked for or cared about and way less useless calories/ just sugars like it 's dead cousin..

My response to that video is that God, in His grace, gives us men and women who are specially tuned in to His creation.

Much like Mozart was a natural with the piano, God-gifted scientists are naturals with God's creation.

Thus God gave us botanists who were able to take a fruit that was meant for animals and create a hybrid that is palatable and fit for human consumption.

More likely it was intended as food for monkey hands.
Regardless, it's the hand that amazingly can grasp all kinds
of fruit. The fruit is not the focus of God's attention.
