As much as I really like Kendra...she definitely looks a little over her head right now in the final task. Of course this is one of those times I question whether it's really as bad as they are making it out to be. I mean I find it hard to believe that she would just stand there and not say a single reassuring thing to the playstation rep when the were looking at the basement. I think the area will be fine if they dress it up a little, so I'm not sure why Kendra didn't insist that it would.

I only saw up until the part where Tana and Kendra were looking through the picture book and then I got... uh... called to bed.

I thought the show was taping, but it wasn't! But at least I was right about Craig getting the boot. To think that HE was the last "man" standing.

So, it's gonna be down to Street Smarts vs. Book Smarts. And it looks like Street Smarts will win because I think that Tana is better than Kendra.

NOT because she has "Street Smarts" though... only because Kendra is young and flimsy. I am, and will always be, and advocate for post-secondary education!
Yeah, I think Tana will win too. She's my favorite anyways.

Craig was horrible in the interviews.

Well...it is clear to me who they are setting up for the victory...I believe I know who he will pick to be hired.

Agreed. If he doesn't pick her, I will be flabbergasted. I was really surprised at how the other one talked about her team. Her attitude on this episode was a real shock compared to how she's been portrayed all season.

I think it is pretty clear, but there may be a surprise as well.

I was kinda thinking that...it seemed like Tana had a much more difficult task than Kendra did...the networks want us to think one thing and then do another.

Yeah, I agree with you. Setting up a gaming event, and setting up an event for the potential future olympic games in a city is (in my opinion) no comparison.
I live in NYC, and the 2012 campaign is a big thing, banners on buildings, bilboards, on the sides of buses, etc. When the OC was here, it was even bigger. I think Tana had a trial by fire.
Last night's show did not put her in a good light at all, but you never know what Donald Trump has up his sleeve.

Kendra couldn't have done better, though. Tana may have had the tougher task, but then it would have been an unfair competition no matter how Kendra did on hers. The mistakes Tana made were, in my opinion, rookie mistakes in the business world. You never send something to the printer without proofing it first. You never keep important people sitting around waiting. I was appalled at how she treated the governor's aide who kept telling her, "He's just sitting around, he'd like to be doing something" and she responds, "Okay, that's fine." He got so mad he finally said, "No it's not!" and walked off. She treated her employees and other staff so unprofessionally, like when she turned around to the random staff member complaining to him that Chris was trying to "tell the boss how to run the show".

She was just so condescending. Sneaking around corners to make sure her employees were gone before she was willing to leave the building, "hanging back like an executive" - it was such a contrast to the warm way that Kendra left her employees.

Tana made enough mistakes that, even with her task being the harder of the two, she was an embarrassment. What struck me the most was when she complained that no one was telling her she had beautiful blue eyes and wanted to buy some lipstick - that seemed to me an admission almost that she was out of her league. And then complaining that no one was offering a compliment. She just seemed delusional about her whole performance.

I agree that Tana's task was much more difficult. I also agree with Tana that she was given a worthless team! I mean, she was assigned the 3 worst people on the show. All hotheads! At least Kendra had Danny who although he really didn't bring much talent to the table he was at the least very likeable. And Erin only got fired because she let her mouth get ahead of her brain in the boardroom. She was an excellent contestant.

I still think they may be trying to shock us with the results. They have never before made it so obvious that one of them did such a terrible job. But I don't know how they can make Tana look better than Kendra now. They did a pretty good job of trashing Tana. It doesn't seem possible for her to recover from it now.

The topic of "firing people" is definitely going to come up when Donald is giving them their final interviews.

Kwame was asked why he didn't fire Omarosa.
Jen was asked why she didn't fire one of her team mates.
Tana will be asked why she didn't fire one of her people... and then she'll lose (as you can tell from the pattern).

That's a great point. Carolyn made a comment last night, it was a little hard to hear over the crowd cheering at the event, but she said "I know that no matter what I say to Tana about how she is handling this event, she's going to blame it on her team." And when they gave them this task, George made a specific point to say, "You need to be able to work with people you don't always get to choose, or might not want. This is your team, feel free to use them - or not use them - as you choose." He seemed to be making it very clear that they had full license to fire anyone not stepping up to the job.

I must say that I was rooting for Tana to win since the beginning, but always liked Kendra since the first boardroom when she was the only one to blame Todd for the loss. But Kendra started edging out in front of Tana when she stayed up all night for that car brochure while Tana went to sleep. I'm glad they got to the final two, but Kendra definitely has my vote... Tana really bad talked her team a lot. And then she says that it couldn't have gone ANY better? Oh, jeez, what does she see?

Kendra, go girl!

If Tana started firering ppl, she would have fired her WHOLE team...would that have been any better for her? Would they go into the Street Smarts bank and pulled out more potential teammates for her? Or would she have to go solo?
