I'll have to wait and see. I think that the book smart people will be full of themselves, well that is my guess at least and people who are full of themselves and cocky annoy the heck out of me. I just cant wait for it to start up again, I'm lost without the Apprentice and OC on thrusday nights.

I think that is the way the show will present them.

I'm really looking forward to the new season. Not only because I enjoy the show so much but also because it's good quality time with my 15 year old. We watch it together and discuss it.

Yes, I think so too. We don't always root for the same person which is fun. Mitchell loved Raj but although I thought he was fun to watch, I was never impressed with him.

Okay, fans! Two days til the new season! Let's meet back here to scrutinize the contestants!

Has anybody noticed that there doesn't seem to be a lot of promotion for the show?

What did everyone think of the first week? I was really annoyed when the team was ganging up on Danny. Yes, he did a pretty bad job with the marketing...but the people were in the store. The team just wasn't getting the customers in and out of the store fast enough to make as much of a profit. And that boiled down the the issue of not enough cashiers. So I was glad when George and Carolyn defended Danny a bit. Then it was a tough choice between Todd and Alex...Donald had reason to fire both of them. So overall, a good decision in my opinion. Next week looks good.

I don't have any favorites yet. I like Kendra just for sticking up for Danny and Erin, although a bit spoiled, seems good at heart, not wanting to say anything bad about her team. As for the guys, no one on Magna really impressed me tonight. John did a good job with Net Worth. So other than the 3 I mentioned...no one really stood out in a positive light in my mind. Chris was a bit annoying at the special dinner...quite the potty mouth.

YES! I heart street smarts!

My friends and I are doing a Pick 'Em Kind of thing where you pick the winners/losers every week, including project managers, etc. It's through Yahoo!, so if anyone wants to play send me an IM/email/PM and I'll send you the info to play with us! :)

No promotion? Are you kidding? The guy's gettin' MARRIED this weekend- every paper, magazine, and news show in the world will be reporting it and talking about his show along with it. I'm willing to bet that when they discussed wedding plans, he didn't want to get married during re-run season!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyway, I feel almost exactly the same way that Mathias1979 does.
I like Kendra's guts to take a stand and not conveniently go for Danny as the rest of 'the pack' did. It bugs the heck out of me when people go for the outsider so quickly so as to save their own sorry butts. It was also smart of her because it wasn't Danny's fault that they lost. She called it and that will be remembered and will go a long way for her. (It might work against her though IN the team.)

I think it's going to be REEEEEAAALLLLY interesting watching the dynamics of Magna next week after they all slammed Danny. Think they'll be singing anymore? :D And I doubt they'll be shouting "unbelievable!" anymore either!

I am totally rooting for the street smarts people although I have to say I am a big believer in higher education.

That said, I think a street smarts person will win and not only that, there will probably be more street people near the end of the show than book. I'm willing to bet one of their tasks will be at a University or something though, just to put them at a distinct disadvantage.

I liked John, thought he did a great job.

Have to agree about the gratuitous F word from Chris at the dinner. Totally NOT impressive. Although the story about Trump paying off that couple's house was TRES cool. HOpe I run into him broken down on the road someday!!;)

NObody else really stands out in my mind at this point. See ya next week!!!

I'm a college graduate but I'm not rooting for either team. I'm gonna root for the person who does a good job, is not judgemental about their team mates and works hard.

I personally could care less if someone has a college degree or not. Look at it this way: College graduates work hard to get the education they need to get a job. There are many jobs which REQUIRE a college degree. High school graduates work hard to get to the positions they end up at and there are many opportunities for them to start their own business or become managers in some businesses.

So see, it doesn't matter. It just depends on the person.

Last night was a good start to the season. I kinda felt sorry for Danny. I think Trump did the right thing by firing Todd...he hardly did any leading (especially after they got into the restaurant). He just delegated too much to his members and had no control after that.

It was a pretty interesting show. I'll have to say I think that Net Worth deserved to win the challenge because they seemed to put more work into everything they did. Danny may not have been the only one at fault from Magna, but I do agree that he will be hard to handle and work with. He kept shooting down the other girl's marketing ideas and he hung up on Todd when Todd asked him a specific question about the marketing of their product. But, I feel Todd should have been a better leader and he should have had some of the training himself. I think that would have helped them out when they got overloaded. I also think Magna went into the task too overconfident. I think now they realize that they will have to work for what they get, not just steamroll the other team.

Oh, and BarbaraJean-you don't look old enough to have a 15 year old son! I think it is good that you guys enjoy the show together. I think it is a good way to learn some lessons about the business world. I certainly have picked up a few tips along the way!

Same with me!

I'm definately going to be rooting for the street smarts, they seem to know more about what they're doing, but I'll have to see how they do next week.

Did anyone notice the Burger King commercial during the show with Donald Trump? It was really funny! I also heard that Donald Trump has a deal with Burger King for promoting the new sandwhich and he gets some of the profit for it.
