My very basic understanding of post-modernism:
In the 1900s modernism the thoughts were "everything can be explained by science and reason". If you can`t feel it, touch it, taste it, then it doesnt exist and if it does you cannot understand it. Christian fundemantalism apparently came out of this (according to the book "Why so many Gods" its a simple book but i dont really reccomend it). They have a good set of morals and they look at family in the traditional nuclear sense.
in the 1960s people started to get sick of this.
Modernism was replaced py post-modernism. There is no absolute, you make your own truth. Alternate familys are in.
The basis of post-modernism is that it rejects stereotypes and defenitions, so trying to define it is very hard.

I trust in Him to look over my house and asked for Him to set an angel guard over my home and me. Better than any safety devices on earth!

Lou is in England Wolfie Honey. She came to Australia and went to Hillsong and loved it.
Then, she returned to the U.K. and...her Dad passed away. She'd lost her Mum earlier.
She has a sister she looks after. So, now she is trying to sort out the Estate and sell the house left by her Dad. She's a Uni Student. And, she is coming back to live in Australia because she loved Hillsong here and made friends there. We are sooooo looking forward to talking to her when she lands on Aussie soil with her broad Lancashire accent!

Wow, that's a story. I hope it all works out according to God's will for her life. I wouldn't mind coming to live in Australia, too! But I have work to do here I guess.

Struth! Don't ask me mate! I can only name one species of gum...and that's the Mountain Ash! Oh...and the Peppermint tree's...know them anywhere! If it's green and pretty...I like trees! As for names...the tags are lost and that's the end of that.
