On March 1, eleven Teams of two people, each with a pre-existing relationship, will set out on THE AMAZING RACE around the world to compete for one million dollars. They'll never know where they're going next or what they'll have to do once there. Each pair's relationship will be forever changed by their experience in this once-in-a-lifetime adventure.

Once again, our website will track the Teams' progress across the globe, chronicling dramatic conflicts and deepening friendships that develop between and within the Teams throughout the grueling competition. Here’s your chance to meet each Team and find out what their relationship is like at the starting line of THE AMAZING RACE

Amazing Race 8 is going to be teams of 4! They are looking for families!!!!!!! My family is going to try out!!!!

The youngest member of the team must be at least 12 years old.

I want to thank whoever at CBS has the brains to realize this is a great series and that it deserves many more installments before retirement. I just wish they wouldn't schedule it the same time as Scrubs... but then again, Scubs should be in Joey's slot giving NBC a chance to put some real "Must See" comedies back on the air Thursday nights... but I digress.

I'm looking forward to seeing the dynamic between Rob and Ambuh now that they have to work as a team instead of as competitors. I thought it was funny during one of the previews I saw when Rob said, "They just don't want us to win again." First thing I thought was, "Rob, YOU never won!" I think they will make it a very interesting season, but I'm also looking forward to seeing the families in season 8. Phil said on The Early Show that "There are a lot of definitions of 'family' in America, so it will be interesting." That intrigued me. Can't wait!

Really? Wow, that's interesting! I don't think I'll like it as much. I think it will make the whole thing go slower with kids and all. I'm not sure, it sure will be different!

Funny.
On the day they presented the million dollar check to Freddie and Kendra, Phil Kaegan said when Rob and Amber approached him to instroduce themselves and ask if they could be part of the next Amazing Race, he didn't know who they were because he'd been out of the country traveling around the world.
