I don't like the Isabelle & Shawn relationship.. we all knew he'd jump right into it. I definitely don't think that the show can do anything to get rid of Maia, she is one of the interest points in the show, but I agree... it definitely felt forced into the show, not something that could happen in the natural course of events. Is the room that she's in the same room Tom's wife was in?? I guess we'll find out... but it's not the same anymore..:(

I'm not liking this season nearly as much. I'm hoping at some point soon certain storylines will start making sense but suddenly a lot of characters are seeming much less likeable, and I truly dislike the Maia storyline right now. The actors no longer seem comfortable in their roles and I wonder if they are being kept in the dark about outcomes themselves?

I think that is an excellent observation. I just can't imagine where they are taking the show at this point... if this is for shock value... well the shock is apparent. However I am ready from some of their previous writing experise. I am taking it as it goes....for now.

I'm glad other people feel the same way about this season as I do....

It looks as though they're going to have everyone forget about Maia... they said they were taking her to an earlier time... closer to when she was taken maybe? What about the other kids they took? Was she just "special"? Did her Diary say anything about anythng else? We'll have to see how it plays out....

I'm keeping them on my DVR, so that I can watch them back to back again once the series ends and try to make more sense out of things.

That's my big question. We see him in a preview, and I am a bit worried about how "Jesus" like they make him look. It's not a huge shock, but an unnecessary one. Does he die and then get ressurected? We know his body disappeared, and now that we are seeing the Maia timeline, did they "take" Collier and then just reinsert him at another time? The whole thing seems too chaotic right now, as if each piece is being written by different hands. I dunno, I'm not impressed.

Well... last night's episode was weird to say the least

Wow! The episode seemed a little forced..
Didn't last week's end off with Tom & Diana breaking into that house and seeing a few people looking at it w/ a realtor??
I think they should have stretched out Maia's kidnapping and disappearance one more episode. It was practically solved half way through the show.
The Matthew guy is still creeping me out, is it him that put the implant in Shawn's arm? I think he's trying to infiltrate the inner workings of the 4400 and is part of that terrorist (or another terrorist) group.
How did Tom know that jumping off the bridge would take him to "the future" where Maia was? Wasn't Alana there before? And I thought for sure the sacrifice he'd have to make is bigger than killing Isabelle. If she can die.
I'm glad Diana came out of it to reunite with Maia.

Overall... a decent episode. Still waiting for next week though.

Last night didn't help for me- there's too much stuff going on, they drag out scenarios that strike me as meaningless and speed through plotlines that need much more detail. Some of what's going on now just seems downright silly -- the idea of just arbitrarily altering a plan meant to preserve mankind because of the emotional attachment of present day people struck me as nonsensical. "Okay you're all so upset about this so instead____" That just doesn't work for me.

I actually enjoyed this last episode for a lot of reasons;

Isabelle is showing her true side more, and it's got to be getting scary for everyone around her. Did you see the look in Shaun's eyes when she told him they weren't breaking up? And what she did to her father...

Matthew seems to be playing both sides, but I can't figure out who or what he's working for and I find it interesting.

I'm glad the Maia thing resolved itself, and I find it really interesting that it was Kyle set up by the aliens to kill Jordon Collier because he was out of place (I only assume now to be reinserted into the time line at another point) and now to set up Kyles father Tom to take out Isabelle because she is the one causing the trouble.

It will be interesting to see if Shaun dies as a result of the Nova group getting into his head and making him paranoid and delusional.

I think that Tom figured that if he had a purpose to the people who abducted and reinstered the 4400, him attempting to kill himself would attract their attention and their salvation. It was the only way he knew how to contact them, as he already knows he can't get to them through Elanna.

While it's getting a little confusing, I enjoyed all the twists of this episode and for the first time this season, I'm looking forward to the next episode.

July 16th episode was awesome!!!!!!

It is sad at the end though. with Alana being the one on the inside and her having to go to Canada with Gary Navarro... and her and Tom were separated. Shawn however I am worried about because Isabelle is practically out to get him
I knew Isabelle was supposed to be used for evil. I hope however, Shawn convinces her to become good. I simply love this show! A lot of biblical symbolism in it as well... but i suppose that is for another time.. another chat. I am kind of confused about Dr. Burkoff though.. he hasnt been on in quite a few episodes.. I want to know how he is doing with the promicin thing... and Maia's diary is quite interesting...
Tom will have a new partner next week.... and things are going to change.
I also still wonder about Jordon Collier... that whole thing with him was weird too...

I tend to agree with Carl... I would rent the 1/2 seasons from the video store... It isn't as good as lost but it is pretty good...
the 3rd season is about 6 shows in so... I don't know if you can get the previous shows online.
HOWEVER the USA network is really good about doing marathons... maybe you can catch up on one of those weekends.

Well, I am too lazy for a spoiler tag... so reader beware.
This last epi was good... What a bonus to have Brian Dennehy guest spotting. I thought that the actor who plays Tom... showed tremendous growth in his acting capability this week, actually showing emotions...

The story lines are getting interesting again. I am not happy with the develoment of Diana and her getting rid of her bf ... he was a nice touch to the whole variety of the show. I have a sinking suspicion, that they are gonna try to get Tom/Diana together... if this happens... I may have to consider NOT watching.

Isabelle: Can we say this girl freaks me out? She is cold and blank. Good acting ... But man I don't know whether to love her character or hate her. She can be so endearing and sweet and then be cold calculating and vicious the next...

I don't know what do ya'll think?

Hi guys! I am watching 4400 courtesy of Netflix. I am on Season 2. The last episode I watched the little baby (She is too cute!) opened the cash register at a motel and her mom took money out. I think the Dad knows she isn't too cool. But, she still is a cutie! ;~)

Welcome to the 4400 thread... We are glad to have you aboard!!! Hopefully USA will have a catch up weekend, where they do a marathon of alll of this season for you. Keep us posted on your thoughts as you continue to watch. Blessings!!!<><
