he died jan. 16th , had a cerebral hemorrage and had brain surgery
he did not get better , in other words he had stroke and had still a leak in brain , no one ever really said that. and he became unresponsive and had seizures.
I was told he could go into cardiac arrest at any time , this was 5 days from surgery
we asked if he could be taken off all meds (he was then on high dozes for seizures , they were horrible to watch. also all of his anitrejection drugs for kidney. his blood pressure was dropping so they had him on something to raise it too.
I signed the living will he did not have at the time ( they said it was just a matter of time so this would be less pain for him and they could put him on morphine ) it was the hardest thing I ever have done. and I miss him so much, he is in God's hands now I know for sure , no more pain no more depression . he was going down hill as of this last summmer . I was becoming a caregiver in all the ways a caregiver does.

I'm so sorry Nana.
My Mother just died and I know it's not the same as losing a husband but I can certainly understand the sudden loss.
