  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Welcome and God Bless!!!
I am a mom of three, the oldest being in 1st grade and I home school. I heard that the bigger they get the bigger the problems are. However, I am hoping that if we give them strong and deep enough roots they will always find the right way.
I hope you can do that too!

One thing that I can say is you never stop worrying about them, even after they leave the home and get married!

Thankfully the worst we have had is bad attitude. Both kids started about about 12. By the time my son turned 14 he was fine again. He's 16 now. My daughter is 14 1/2 and she is just now coming out of it. It's such a relief when you see the glimpse of your child again, lol

Since you homeschool, you may not go thru it as bad. It is a middle school thing I think.

Our kids are really good kids, I think it has a lot to do with the way our home is ran. Dad has always been very hands on, we eat together, do everything together really. I think that helps in how the kids are.

Take care and be blessed.

hello everyone, I am a newbie here. Just wanted to pop in and introduce myself.

I am a married mom to 2 teenagers. I love the computer and have been part of CF for awhile. Always find it hard to get involved (accepted) in these forums, though I have been pretty blessed with that lately since I have been coming in every day.

Hope you are all having a blessed day!
 Hi!

Our grandkids range from 12 to 7... so not teenagers quite yet!

Welcome!

My son is turning 16 on Sunday. :swoon: He's only had a few times with some difficult "moods".

BTW-Hi John  Nice to see you're still around here!

lol- you are lucky then. Actually I count myself pretty blessed even with the little bit of attitude periods we have went thru. Some of the kids that mine go to school with have BAD attitudes- big time. My kids tell me they can't understand how those kids talk about their parents, how they hate them and the names they call their parents.
I wouldn't trade my kids for anything :)

Good morning! What's going on these days?
hi there.
It's so cold here today. I need to go buy some groceries, but I hate to go out-lol. My excuse so far is that my husband has my van. But he will be home in about 30 min and then I will need to go. ha- at least the van will be warm from his drive home so that won't be so bad.
Would love to put off the grocery until tomorrow, but we are out of food- scavaged the last of the chicken strips for lunch and don't think we want to eat garlic toast and green beans for dinner- LOL which is about all we have left so I will brave the cold to shop.

Have a wonderful weekend
