The 2nd comming in the 2000th year?

That site says that the second coming takes place in the year 2000, -3/+11 years. So obviously it cant be 1997 so the maximum would be 2,011? Does the bible ever say anything about the year 2,000 being special?

The Lord never gave a date per say, but He told us to discern the times. We are to watch and pray and when we see the birth pangs getting closer to "look up" for our redemption draws near. Daniel was told to seal up the book till the time of the end " when people will run to and fro and knowledge will increase. The guy in the website is definitly post-trib.

We are told to be armed with the full armor of God and the belt of truth, so we should keep seeking and never become stoic and unconcerned. Jesus said that when we saw the antichrist exalting himself above God.

2Thess.2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

What things happen in this world to bring this person into power, commanding armies of the world and then exalting himself above God in such a manner? I think the minds of man are being set up for this even now, as he will promise peace when things get real bad, as they are just now starting to see with soaring gas and food prices. How fragile we are in the country right now. Hoow overextended with a kooky wall street up and down like a fiddler's elbow over any thing that happens in the oil rich middle east. It is obvious that the world will battle over this oil and still want peace at any price. He will be the man of all the answers who turns and leads the world into the abyss of destruction. We are standing on the precipice starring into the abyss of this tribulation or looking up and trusting in and expecting the Lord's return is soon to come. Will He find us doing His work faithfully? I hope so, for all of us.

I believe Jesus will return around the year 2018. Here's why!
We seem to be given a 21-yr warning that the man of sin is about to rule. That warning could have started back on Nov. 15, 1988.

Now take the 21 years and make it the Hebrew time of months are 30 days.

We know that Daniel was given a vision at Daniel 10:1 and yet he did not tell us then what he had seen. After this vision though, he mentions that he had mourned for three full weeks. After this, a brief time passes and the man of sin shows up as the ruler.

You then fit this into Daniel 11:14.........to establsh the vision

Thus start the 21 year warning when the Palestinians exalt themselves.

So Israel had to be a people in her land and free again. Then among her live a people as a group and they are violent.

Thus the Palestinians declared independence (exalted themselves) on November 15, 1988.

So take 1988, add in the 21 years and then a bit longer than 7 for the man of sin.
and you get about the year of 2018.
2009 plus 7+....and Daniel 11:20 shows there will be a raiser of taxes time first and then then vile person (man of sin) will rise as the ruler.

actually the beast reigns for 3 and 1/2 years...

Revelation 13:5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.

42 months add up to 3 and 1/2 years. 3 years equals 36 months. plus 6 more equals 42 months.
