  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

My first appt with my OB isn't until March 28th! That's like forever away. Hopefully everything with medical etc will be set up, I'm really looking forward to it. I haven't had ANY spotting this time around which they take as a good sign BUT if I begin to spot I'm supposed to call for an emergency appt.

I love your shirt godsgirl & saved! I need to go look for some more maternity clothes.

I was glad for my appointment to be scheduled later. I wasn't anxious to start going to the dr. every month then every two weeks. LOL Reckon I'm wierd.

I'm glad you are not spotting. I did spot with my first child for several weeks. Scared me silly. I did spot with this one after my first exam but it wasn't much. And I've spotted pink after intercourse. That kinda scared me but it was just a bit. Since then I've found out that I have previa and we are not allowed to have intercourse until they check me again at my next U/S.

I spotted with DD (a lot) because of previa which scared me because of previous miscarriage. It started at about 12 weeks, but by 20 it had moved up and away. Praise God!!
I spotted for about a week with this one, but just had u/s and he/she is doing fine!

When I was spotting, my doctor told me not to go to the emergency because when they do the exam to check to see if the cervix is open or closed, it can irritate the cervix and cause a miscarriage. But I guess if that is what your doctor told you to do, go to the emergency, then you do it. I had lots of bleeding with all my children. They all ended up fine. Even some doctors have said that their wives have had piles of bleeding (a pad every 2 hours) and have had healthy babies.

I hope you don't have any bleeding because it is really scary. Of course, sometimes you have to go to the emergency- I'm just saying that sometimes even lots of bleeding doesn't mean an impending miscarriage. Sometimes when the baby is implanting in the uterus, it hits a vein.
