Hi there,
There's a bit of a problem that I'm going to hit on for the third time here, this time from the angle of the logic that the Atheist would attempt to employ. That logic, is that something negated exonerates the one negating, as if to say "I'm exonerated because if it were possible to refute me, you would have". The problem with this line of thinking is basically, that it's completely wrong.
You cannot completely refute, negation.
To think that you can do this is a fallacy, given by the fact that you simply cannot make the Devil something other than the Devil. If the Devil says he's going to bite, he's going to bite - you'll be lucky if it's not you. In another sense though, it's purely mathemetical, to completely refute a negation, at some point you will have to reference a minus, a negation is a minus and two minuses is a positive, so even mathematically you are stuck. In a sense that is what the atheist is saying "I have a minus, I bet you can't minus my minus with your minus".
The thing is that's not the game. If the game is anything it is "see if you can use your minus to make my positive look like a minus, you can do that either positively or negatively". The difference here is that there is actually a choice and that choice more and more looks like it came from God. No one has to prove that the choice absolutely came from God, the choice is already absolute, all they have to do is make it clear that it looks more and more like it comes from God. That's the nature of choice in this life, it does not come to us because we make an assertion that may or may not be true.
I hope this makes things clearer.
