  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

does anyone else ever wonder if they'll ever find that "someone"? i mean, im only 19, so i shouldnt be worried about this stuff yet, but the past few guys i've been out with may have believed in God, but certainly were not christians. that's another problem i have, im always attracted to the guys God probably would rather have me not be with...does anyone else know what im saying here?

I have the same problem christianpunkett916. From my experience, all the guys that seem to say they're christian don't walk the walk. Who knows maybe it's God's will that we never be married. Nowhere in the bible does He promise He's got a soulmate here on earth for us. From what I've seen so far, I think I could grow much stronger in the Lord without the distraction of a guy. Of course, I'd still like to share my life and faith with someone but if that someone remains to be Jesus alone.. I'll take it!

i think that is why they have these forums ;)

Just kidding.

Yes it is both hard for girls and guys to find someone who is seeking after Gods face, and trying to grow in that relationship, it has been my experience that most girls that i meet that are, are already married or spoken for ;) ^_^ LOL

nods head in agreement

Try finding a girl who is interested in a fundamentalist apocalyptic pro-Israeli Christian guy, who also likes dance parties, the beach, travelling and going to the gym, i'm seen as too worldy by Christian girls, and too Churchy by worldly girls..... and thats before i've even considered what i'm after..... attractive, vivacious, fun, soft hearted, smart but also solid Christian and pro-Israel

gosh!!!!!!!!

I 'found' her when I was 17 at which point I decided to marry her which I did when we were 18. Its a matter of choice, free will from both parties, and a little divine intervention.
Desi, you're my hero. I'ld be jealous but it would be sinful jealousy and I've grown immensly from the time I was 18 so I'm actually quite thankful I haven't 'found her' yet. Still, you're my hero :)

Hey. Yeah, I'm only 16, and I do wonder about that, all the time actually. I wonder, who will it be? Do I know them know? Will it last? You know, stuff like that. I mean, I'm not totally OBSESSING over it or anything, I just wonder. And I really hope that I meet them at a younger age than like 25 or something, you know?

You flatter me. God and wisdom are the only things I have going for me. If you saw me and my wife you'd see J Lo and George from Seinfeld and you'd think WfF? The key, which most Christians don't utilitze, is wisdom. There is a science to love which is called fastseduction, and many other names. To use this wisdom in concert with God's guidance is to be like David, the world at your fingertips and temptation at your heels, with God looking on.;)

Don't rush it girl. I can promise you this. Before you go to college and after you graduate you will be looking for a totally different type of guy. My tastes have changed so much from the time i was 18 to 22.

Absolutely. Had I married the type of guy I thought I should when I was 18, I'd be miserable today. There's a HUGE gap between 18 and 22 where you find out so much about yourself and what you need and want, and also what you have to give to someone else, what kind of personality and gifts best complement yours, what your life dreams and goals are, etc. There's so much. So don't be in a rush. :)
