If you had to choose just one thing, what would be the one thing that you wish your spouse understood about you?

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Shucks, I couldn't come up with anything. I feel pretty understood. Maybe I'm just very simple?

The fact that men and women are different! I jest, but sometimes he does josh me like I am one of the boys and forgets that I have a more sensitive side.

That he is absolutely everything to me. He doesn't realize how bad the little comments hurt because he has other things and friends in his life that are almost equally important to him as I am. I said "forsaking all others" and meant it and maybe I took it too seriously!

How much he's come to mean to me, ......over time. I felt I knew and loved him when I married him, then we sort of went through a stage of distance. It takes time.
I wish I could make him understand how much I love him, and how much he's changed my life. He's my hero.

I wish that he understood that my love is like a bottomless well....and I so wish I could just share that with him....if he understood that what I want and need more than anything in this world is his love and attention....and with it, I feel we could climb any mountain...nothing would be impossible....without it....life is so empty....my heart...just a well...wishing it could share from its depths.

how loud and intimidating and scary he is when he yells. i think if he knew the consequences of how much it sets me back then he wouldn't be so loud...

I thought of something - Hubby is completely baffled about why I use an eye-lash curler. He thinks it's an instrument of torture! I've tried and tried to explain that I don't feel a thing, but he still winces when he sees me do it.

That I am so in love with him and how much I love being intimate with him and I am not happy with the low frequency! I know he loves me though and I love the knowing...
