What do you think causes your blood to flow or the acids to work so actively in your stomach, so that you can have life or even digest your food? Actually, when you get down to brass tacks, the activities of your body, AND your body itself, are manifestations of God's Knowledge. And I know that you're surely telling yourself right now, inside of your head, "Yeh, Tom, my common sense has already told me this stuff decades ago! What's your point?"
Well, my friend, my point is that, if I don't often remind myself of these simple facts, I can easily begin to subconsciouly see myself as being separate from God. What I will begin to do, is to miss the larger dimensions of what Divine Being ACTUALLY dwells right within me. Yes, the Holy Spirit. ALL things, especially our self-concept, MUST begin with God.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and he shall direct your paths. Do not be wise in your own eyes. Fear the Lord and depart from evil. It will be health to your flesh and strength to your bones. (Proverbs 3:508)

Yes, in ALL of your ways, in ALL of your thoughts and actions, remind yourself of this: " THIS God, Who dwells within me RIGHT NOW, is my Creator, my Guide and Protector, and my Savior! "
Stop right this moment, OK? Close your eyes and listen to your next breath. Go ahead, take it. Let it out, take another, then let it out. Close your eyes from this page you now read and breathe a little, feeling what God has given you many times a minute. He breathes in you, as YOU breathe in the air He created. He's THAT close.
The point of this post, my friend, is that the Divine Pathway to the miracle of creation and of all existence starts with God, no matter WHAT all the scientists tell you about how the Earth evolved over the last 10 - 20 centuries, or more. If there REALLY WAS some "Big Bang", it was created by God. His Creation is NOT a theory, no matter WHAT you have grown to tell yourself is true.
All true pain and death in the world is caused by the human denial of their existence as being a part of God. The Realm of the Real is the existence of God. There is no OUTSIDE of God's Kingdom. All discords of human life have no existence outside of our accepting that the only suffering in life comes from the lack of the human realization that ALL OF LIFE is an expression of God's Love. And all fears are expressions of our lack of faith in this.
The closer we stay within our thoughts of God, the more our life is lived as Jesus' Life. To see ourselves connected to God is to see the underlying principles of OUR life WITHIN God's Existence. And these principles include our breath as being a gift, our blood flow as being a gift, and everything else which exists on Earth, from the rocks to the trees, from the birds to the person who lives next to you in your community. All existence is a gift.
When we TRY to know God, we open ourselves up to ALL knowledge. Our existence is a constant and on-going opportunity to experience God. The moment that you begin to use your mind to see yourself as connected to God, you will find yourself more patient, more loving and compassionate, more trusting and peaceful. THESE are the signals that the Holy Spirit has taken up residence in your life.
Yes, God is THAT close to you.

Dear God, all I can say is, "Thank You." Probably more than anything else, I am thankful that I CAN say, "Thank You!" Before I accepted Your Son Jesus into my life, all of the philosophical knowledge which I THOUGHT I had did not have anything in it that I could say, "Thank You!" to. It was all about karma and transmigration, realizing "the self", and all that other mumbo-jumbo which I called, "Truth" ! As You know, I even used to dance around my campfire in the full moon and feel connected to the ancient natives and the weather outside around me. It all circled around me. You were there, but I did not realize the connection which was close enough for me to touch and experience and LOVE! Thank You for being so patient with me during my stupid years. You are such a good God.
