Yikes. they aren't legally allowed to deny you a break, are they? I know at my work, breaks are mandated by law.

It's by law here too so yes, that's breaking the law. So out I come from that place very soon.

When you're really enjoying a pack of sweets/candy, and you read the packaging only to see "excessive consumption may induce a laxative effect."

Oh dear... Wish me luck.

Well, its a good thing that Reese's has a "Fast Break" candy so I think you will make it in time at least. :sput:

What we learned from Reese's in this post:

From his laxative explanation he is NOT eating this:
Chunky-Wrapper-Small.jpg

He may however be munching on this candy:

That awkward moment when you use candy bars as a reference to bathroom humor. :sorry:

Or, worse, I've confused these two, and eaten ad-lib amounts...

That moment where you return to work to find out that the manager didn't check his folder/mailbox thing in the wall and claims to have not received it, nor did he bother to call to find out if I really had written the letter of resignation.

Seriously.... that's just bad management. Ignoring a problem won't make it go away. In fact, ignoring such things is worse.

That's not awkward, it's just incompetent.

"Sugarfree" doesn't mean "overindulge". There must be a reason that you bought the more expensive candies that suggests that the laxative issue is not your primary problem.

That awkward moment when you think your cat is trying to be cute by laying next to your head and purring, while you are doing your stretches, only to have him try to bite you in the face. Granted I purred back at him so apparently I insulted him or he's trying to kill me.

This is why I don't like cats. You can't ever tell what a cat is thinking or, in most cases, if it actually likes you.

You can tell....... you just have to pay attention.

You can actually read cats if you spend time with them.

Cats are more emotionally stable in general.

Dogs are more like emotional sledgehammers. Dogs are slaves to their emotions. They will charge you and just about kill you because they havent seen you in......... 10 minutes. :|

I love both, but for me the fact that dogs are so highly dependent and clingy is a downside. (Good if you need to be cheered up...... annoying if you need to get stuff done.)

Both cats and dogs tell you what they think and how they feel about you...... cats are just a bit more.... subtle. They dont feel the need to charge you...... knock you down and lick your face.

Cats are more like a woman........ a dog is more like a man.

A woman is generally more reserved, cautious and you need to respect her if you are to have her love and affection. Mistreat her and she doesnt forget.

A man is in general like a dog is just a drooling slobbering fool that will put up with much...... just for some attention.

That awkward moment when you are tired but when you try to go to sleep your brain is like "Just kidding, let's stay awake all night! Who needs sleep? Not you!"
