I found out that the Americans are celebrating Thanksgiving at the moment. So, I thought I'd start a thread asking what people here are thankful for from the last year.

This last year, though tough for me at times, has also been filled with blessings.

I'm thankful for all that God has done in and through me. Without His presence and help, I don't know where I'd be today.

I'm thankful for my wife, who has supported me through everything.

I'm thankful for my family, those related by blood, marriage, or adoption. Never have I asked for help or advice and been refused.

I'm thankful for my close friends, who stuck by me through the toughest times. I regard them also as my family, and I feel so blessed by them.

I'm thankful for my forum buddies, who were always willing to pray for me whenever I asked. Just knowing that people will pray can help ease the pain or burden.

I'm thankful for the time I spent in Zimbabwe, and the lessons God taught me through the people there.

Deuteronomy 8 :7-10

For the Lord your God is brining you into a good land of flowing streams and pools of water with springs that gush forth in the valleys and the hills. It is a land of wear and barley of grapevines, fig trees, pomegranates, olives and honey. It is a land where food is plentiful and nothing is lacking. It is a land where iron is as common as stone and copper is abundant in the hills. When you have eaten your fill praise the Lord your God for the good land he has given you.

when we were in Zimbabwe a friend we made and stayed with one night shared that verse with us and said that God was telling him that 2005 would be a year of abundant blessing for us and that we should remember to thank him for that

truely this year has been a blessed year for me.

Lord i am thankful for

* my husband
* They work you have been doing in my husband and the healing that you are brining to him
* two new jobs that in which both i work alongside other christians
* the calling to go back to Zimbabwe
* the patience to wait to have kids
* the recent blessing in disguise of my car accident which lead to us getting a new car much better than the old one
